Great post! @DamienIrving ! I was just speaking to Aurel and he was saying that there should be a good turnout for Hobart. From the feedback from Fabiana it sound like connecting more people than about ~15 could be a problem, so if it did happen that you had heaps of people you may need to double them up.
From the sound of it the second, workshop section won't have as many though. I'll make sure I'm at my desk and checking emails tomorrow if you have anything you need to clarify or anything breaks.

@captainceramic Yeah, the broad overview/demo talk from 9:00 - 9:30 will probably get a fairly large audience (it's been incorporated into the regular Friday morning Data Science Hobart talks), but I don't think we'll get more than 15 sticking around for the practical session. If we did get > 15, then I'd just get them to do pair programming or something to halve the number of people who need a virtual desktop.
And thanks in advance for being available online tomorrow morning - I'm sure there will be questions that I can't answer

@captainceramic Today I'm going to get everyone to install from source. If they have followed the "For the Impatient" instructions on the wiki in the past and run ln -s /g/data/r87/public/apps/cwsl-mas/master/cwsl ${HOME}/.vistrails/userpackages, will this override that when then install by source today? ln -s ${HOME}/src/cwsl-mas/cwsl ${HOME}/.vistrails/userpackages
I'm thinking maybe they need to run ln -s -f ${HOME}/src/cwsl-mas/cwsl ${HOME}/.vistrails/userpackages and the -f option will overwrite the old link?

That's correct - just remove the old link and add the new one.
