Hi there, I'm trying to install knot-resolver on a jessie system but it fails complaining about my libsystemd0 version (although I have updated the system), any clue about what could be wrong ?

@jeanbonneau_twitter Does apt-get install -t jessie-backports knot-resolver helps (you need to have jessie-backports enabled)?

mmh, I don't have backports enabled but I guess that might do the trick, give me a minute to try

@jeanbonneau_twitter kresd is socket activated to run as with little permissions as possible
at least in the Debian package

@oerdnj yes I read the part about socket activation in the doc, it makes sense wrt the systemd version then

@jeanbonneau_twitter and it needs named sockets due DNS(53), /run/knot-dns/control and DNSoverTLS(853) sockets

It works now... It would make sense to update the doc here with the -t flag I guess: https://www.knot-resolver.cz/pages/try.html
