    @mdoering
    download broke in between but only saw it now. Gotta let it run over night again now
    Markus Döring
    @mdoering
    from home network no luck. Data download stops if interrupted and I couldnt get past 27%
    running from GBIF server with linux now which I should have done from the start
    Markus Döring
    @mdoering

    Markus Döring
    @mdoering

    @dimus the process ended with last log lines being

    2020/02/11 13:24:52 Finished getting occurence data.
    2020/02/11 13:24:52 Writing down items not found in BarCode field of item.txt file.

    expected?

    it seems to work!
    Markus Döring
    @mdoering
    @dimus is this canonical form expected?
    {
      "name_string": "Viscum album subsp. abietis",
      "canonical": "Viscum album ssp. abietis",
      "refs_num": 2
    }
    its not what a botanist would use
    nor zoologist
    Dmitry Mozzherin
    @dimus

    it seems to work!

    Awesome

    what was the total time?

    @dimus is this canonical form expected?

    {
      "name_string": "Viscum album subsp. abietis",
      "canonical": "Viscum album ssp. abietis",
      "refs_num": 2
    }

    What would be better you think, subsp.?

    Dmitry Mozzherin
    @dimus
    About items not found in BarCode field
    I did ask Mike what is going on, and he said that some of the texts are not in BHL anymore, but are still in the file system.
    Markus Döring
    @mdoering
    yes, subsp. is the right marker
    Dmitry Mozzherin
    @dimus
    hm I would say I see both in the wild, subsp. is more common though
    Markus Döring
    @mdoering
    ssp. usually is a catchall for subspecies (plural) same as sp. for species
    as in Abies alba ssp.
