@lefticus Okay I updated to 5.7 and my "most basic" code doesn't run anymore. And I can't find any doc or example that reflects my use case (which is really very simple!). Dude can you not keep the documentation up to date at least?

I have not changed the api or broken language syntax since the transition to 5.0
actually, I've never broken language syntax, not once
but the api changed when I left boost behind
so I'd need a bug report or sample, or something

Hm ok. It's night here now and I spent the last 2 hours finding out how to use Chai 5.7

I truly have no idea what it could be. For reference, I still have ALL of the 4.x tests in my unit tests to prove that nothing has changed

But basically what I need is to call a script at several points providing a C++ value (string ) and getting a value back (string too)

I'm pretty sure I'm not using Chai correctly but don't know how to do it right. And the doc is no help

I need you to show me how you are using it, or ask a specific question. You've stated before that the documentation I have is no help, but you will not tell me what you actually need. If you have a repository or example you can point me at or tell me what you are trying to do, I will help.

Yeah after the night. Now I will sleep.
Basically I don't get how to use the boxed_value and eval. That's what I couldn't find in the docs

Oh you should have said that back in March when you opened the "more docs" issue. There is not very good docs on that right now.

Yeah well. Maybe we can address this with my current issue at the same time.

IS there availability of implementing continuations/futures ? I have vague Idea how this could be implemented, but didnt find much time into deep inspection
For example boost asio wrapper or something else.
