I'm trying the most basic example but every call to eval throws an exception ""Two expressions missing line separator"
doesn't matter what script I try with.
Any idea?
?
Which compiler and which version of ChaiScript are you using?

So you have no problem compiling it then, and is that the example code you are running?
and what version of chaiscript?

6.0 but I tried the previous one too. I suspect VS2017
I can compile but it throws an exception at eval

Ok, I'll double check this
Can you verify exactly what it is you are trying to build and execute? is it the example I linked to?

Thanks, I'm going to try with vs2015 tonight. I've used chaiscript before but never with vs2017. Yes it's the example you linked to.
I have to leave, will let you know later. Thanks for the input!

@lefticus Tried on VS2015, worked without problems. Reinstalled VS2017 and now it's working there too.

Yeah, don't do that, just wait :D
so that's interesting, a broken install of VS2017 possibly?
I need to add 2017 to my appveyor builds to make sure I'm testing it regularly

Yeah I know. Yes seems so, honestly I've been having more issues with VS2017 but I was blaming myself for not reading up on the changes. Perhaps it's just buggy
