are they immune to infection unless a random event hits them?
because the way i thought of doing it is a special case if you have 0 infected
then you no longer have a base infection rate
instead you have a 5% chance of having a small percentage of your population become infected on a random day
but then theres this issue where there will be a sudden jump
like if you have all 4 villages
and village 1 is healthy
suddenly it gets hit
and BAM its infection grows like crazy because now village 4 is affecting it
when it wasnt before
i guess what I will do
is 1) determine if it is healthy
2) if so, determine if the infections should spread from other villages
3) if still the infection wont spread, then have the random infection event.
does that sound reasonable?

i think having them from the get go sets them up as a standard
and they arent that troublesome
considering you no longer have to babysit with soap
since hitting 100% health means you are safe

just instead of consistenltly getting reinfected
you get chunked suddenly
which i think means
1) less babysitting
2) more logical to the player
to compensate, i have buffed soap
and containers so they are still stronger than soap
but not by very much

also, I'm being nit-picky here, but could the text on the loss screen be changed to say "Oh no, cholera spread too quickly! Try to use prevention measures to keep it under control next time."
Right now it says "Oh no! Cholera spread too quickly! Try and use prevention measures to keep it under control next time!"
that's too many exclamation points
and I'm not sure "Try and use" is proper english
(this was the loss screen if I sit there and do nothing from the very beginning)

it's really abrupt the way it is npw

but the game is a lot more fun (for me at least) up thru the end, rather than getting super bored at 200 days
I was constantly worried I'd get hit by 2 random events or something

Those slides are bad because they would be us explaining to the player how to play
instead of them just playing the game
I felt that a lot of the comments from monday could be resolved by playing the game first
it's a little annoying that we have to design the presentation for an audience who supposedly doesn't know what's going o

so I figure that instead of wasting time with that in the presentation and the gameplay
we can just play the game first
which would help the audience understand what the game is
I noticed some of the other groups took up way too much time explaining what the project was, which made them run over time
which is why I think that's best to combine with gameplay

The map screenshot needs to show all the villages, some with arrows left and some with arrows right. the localities should have different prevention measures implemented at different times to show off the counters. The menu screenshot needs to have all 4 options available, with some of them selected and at least one not selected. The description box should have words in it, I think it should be the description for soap, as if the player was just about to click it

the game design thing is kind of repeated
from the first few slides
so better than you say it once then I say it once
