Hi, I recently switched to windows from Linux and while I was trying to set up the env using Docker, got this
standard_init_linux.go:207: exec user process caused "no such file or directory"
circuitverse_sidekiq_1 exited with code 1
Barkin Simsek
@woswos
@theredcap This is not the exact same error code but the explanation is same and looks like solves the problem. Give it a try: https://github.com/docker/labs/issues/215#issuecomment-297572957

Yes I had checked that issue as well but the dos2unix command is not working and also I am not able to locate the file. I am fairly new to windows.

Gsoc result will be out today. We had 50+ proposals and many of them were outstanding. But as the new organization we could select only few.

Hey guys!
My name is Sumanth. I am a student from India and have just finished my Junior year. I have had around 7-8 months of Open Source development experience and it has been a great ride so far. I am a bit new to ruby. I love the documentation and applaud the effort put into it. Looking forward to contribute in any way possible :)

Hi everyone! I'm a full stack web developer (HTML,CSS,Javascript, Node.js) and Flask developer. Are there any projects related to the above mentioned stack where I can start contributing?

@ankitkataria Hi, I am in a windows environment, and to set up everything, I might need a terminal? Can this be done on Windows?
Or do I need to boot a linux distro?
Ankit Kataria
@ankitkataria
@eKuG Yes, you'll be needing a terminal. Windows does have a bash terminal that you can use. You can either set up the application on docker or you can install rails and run the server. You'll find some here hints https://github.com/CircuitVerse/CircuitVerse/wiki/Running-the-server https://github.com/CircuitVerse/CircuitVerse#docker-instructions :wink:

@eKuG windows is ok
Or use docker also

Feel free to pick up issues and work on them! The project is based primarily on rails and javascript. Let us know if you have any doubts with setup :slight_smile:

Zac Garby
@zac-garby
Hi, I've got a bit of a problem with flip-flops and buffers. Basically, I'm trying to make a binary counter using xor gates and buffers (I'll post a picture here once I figure out how to). To do this, I get into the situation where I want to set the D pin to high and then the next instant send a high clock pulse. My first thought was to add a buffer on the clock pin, but this didn't seem to work. I tried a buffer in a separate circuit and it doesn't seem to delay at all (regardless of what I set the delay property to in the editor). So my question is basically: how do buffers work, and how can I delay a signal if buffers don't do that? Thanks

Zac Garby
@zac-garby
Bizarrely, if I make a new subcircuit which just consists of two not-gates in sequence, I can make a function delay circuit that way.
Satvik Ramaprasad
@satu0king
@zac-garby , unfortunately buffers has been named incorrectly. Yes what you want is a series of 2 not gates to get the buffer you need. Further you can modify delay's in the property menu by selecting the respective element.

@satu0king
Hope this helps
