Hey there, whats the main difference between Mantl and Nirmata?
Travis Rowland
@Theaxiom
@lezhar it looks like Nirmata costs money while Mantl is completely FOSS
At first glance, I am finding it difficult to see what they are using in their stack
You can see what Mantl is using here: http://mantl.io/technologies
I also believe Nirmata is SaaS/IaaS hybrid whereas Mantl is completely managed on-premise
I hope that answers your question, please let me know if you have any further inquiries :)

@thomasvincent
lol
thats good to know
@ronaldpetty I just want to figure out whats the best way to send out communication about hte project and engage people
Ronald Petty
@ronaldpetty
I think this is probably still it, but think you need to be very specific on what you want to discuss. Unfortunately over time MANTL has ebb and flowed so people come and go :/
pochen
@pochen
has anyone seen the errors of the type
as of yet did not find anything with this pattern in the gitter search function

78,685 lines of code in the refactor. Will be interesting to see what I end up with. Considering this part is only a ansible refactor.

hi. anybody out there to know how i can tell vagrant (and the system its creating) to use a proxy host? . i installed the vagrant proxy plugin and it helped but when ansible wants to go to "TASK: [calico | ensure calico docker image is present]" i get a host not found. i guess its because its not using the proxy
Thomas Vincent
@thomasvincent
did you try

Vagrant.configure("2") do |config|
if Vagrant.has_plugin?("vagrant-proxyconf")
config.proxy.http = "http://192.168.0.2:3128/"
config.proxy.https = "http://192.168.0.2:3128/"
config.proxy.no_proxy = "localhost,127.0.0.1,.example.com"
end

... other stuff

end

Markus H. Maussner
@obsd-guru
yup thats how i did it
it worked fine with the repos, epl etc but then ..

https://mantl.io is down and I get a cloudflare message: "This page (http://mantl.io/) is currently offline. However, because the site uses Cloudflare's Always Onlineā„¢ technology you can continue to surf a snapshot of the site. We will keep checking in the background and, as soon as the site comes back, you will automatically be served the live version. Always Onlineā„¢ is powered by Cloudflare | Hide this Alert" Is mantl still being actively developed?

Hi, seems bintray is down, all files on 1.3 inaccessible... https://shippedrepos.bintray.com/mantl-1.3/, and file shows as forbidden. Anyone any ideas?
