Also as you are trying to run it on centOS did you ran sudo chmod +x /usr/local/bin/docker-compose after downloading docker to make the binary executable?
Sérgio M. Dias
@sergiomdias
I got the same problem (with sudo and once without):
.....

E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

Yash Dusing
@yashdusing
Did you find out which library is exactly causing this by separating the instructions to node js’s Dockerfile
Sérgio M. Dias
@sergiomdias
what's the Dockerfile?
Yash Dusing
@yashdusing
It's located in docker/dev/nodejs
Sérgio M. Dias
@sergiomdias
thanks. On ubuntu is ok. We will try on centOS later

Another point @yashdusing . Is the Leaderboard only on production mode?

I created a challenge (https://github.com/Cloud-CV/EvalAI-Starters) and submit a test; however my Leaderboard don’t show the score.

I don’t think that the leaderboard is production mode only
Could you send a screenshot of the issue ?

When does this happen?
Sérgio M. Dias
@sergiomdias
When I submit this file https://github.com/Cloud-CV/EvalAI-Starters/blob/master/submission.json on Random Number Generator Challenge
Yash Dusing
@yashdusing
Okay. The error says that NoneType object does not have attribute GET. If you look at line 348 of submission_worker.py you’ll see PHASE_ANNOTATION_FILE_NAME_MAP
Somehow the map comes up as empty
Have you changed anything in submission_worker?
Instead of submission.json could you create a different .txt file and write in 1 to 10 on each line?
Sérgio M. Dias
@sergiomdias

I just clone https://github.com/Cloud-CV/EvalAI-Starters
run the command ./run.sh to generate the challenge_config.zip
Upload the challenge_config.zip

@sergiomdias Have you reloaded the worker after approving the challenge? Using docker-compose restart worker .Ref:https://evalai.readthedocs.io/en/latest/approve_challenge.html#step-2-reload-submission-worker

Hi, I need a help) I create open source project and I don't know how to manage my public repo. I can't find any examples.
Sunny Kharel
@sunnykharel
Hello everyone, my name is Sunny Kharel, and I am a junior studying Computer Engineering at UT Austin. I have just joined CloudCV, and am new to open source projects. Do you have any suggestion on how I should start? I am very familiar with GitHub and Git as well as with Python and ML libraries
Looking up at previous comments, I have found the answer to my previous question. Do I have to be a part of GSoC to contribute to the project?
Vladyslav Horbachov
@LeftTwixWand
@sunnykharel I think you are already late. Registration is closed.
Sunny Kharel
@sunnykharel
Yeah, I saw that I missed the registration. I want to contribute to this project even though I am not part of GSoC. Is this possible?
Vladyslav Horbachov
@LeftTwixWand
I don't think so.
Kaustubh Maske Patil
@nikochiko
@sunnykharel Yup why not, feel free to work on an open issue or suggest new features and bug fixes in the GitHub issue tracker
There are also the Fabrik and Origami projects besides EvalAI which might interest you,
Vladyslav Horbachov
@LeftTwixWand
@LeftTwixWand But you can start your own open source project or join existing.
Sunny Kharel
@sunnykharel
Oh, thanks @nikochiko and @LeftTwixWand. I'll join this project and start fixing bugs in the issue tracker!
Yash Dusing

Congratulations @Ayukha @Kajol-Kumari @KhalidRmb for GSOC 2020 !

Hi everyone, I need help setting up local evalAI. I have a local machine and a router with a public domain name. I want to access to my local evalAI via internet. First, I installed evalAI on my local machine using docker compose and opened these ports on my router: 8888 (domain name, say, "competition.blablabla.com) and 8000 (domain name "django.blablabla.com"). Next, I changed the frontend config.json file: API path in "dev" section from "localhost:8000" to "django.blablabla.com". Now I open evalAI competition.blablabla.com, type login and password, and get the error: Access to XMLHttpRequest ... has been blocked by CORS policy. P.S. Direct connection to "django.blablabla.com" works well, I see "Hello World!" page.

Hi EvalAI Team,

We install evalAi on production mode.

A new user needed to receive an e-mail. How configure the sending e-mail?
