    @gautamjajoo
    Hey @AlwaysHumble. Welcome to CloudCV! You can setup the development environment for EvalAI and then search for issues labelled as GSOC-2019.

    How I get to know which issues are closed and still open.

    @akshay0505 You can see in the comments if someone is working on the issue or not and comment so that maintainers could assign it to you!

    @gautamjajoo Are there any issues apart from frontend and backend? I don't know much about these. I know about Machine Learning.

    Hi @RishabhJain2018, I have a question regarding the EvalAI frontend project for GSoC 2019. What if we implement it's frontend with React rather than using Angular 5. I have considerable proficiency in React and if the frontend framework could be changed for EvalAI, then I would be interested in working on this project.
    Kindly share your opinion

    Hi all! I'm Vaibhavi, CS 4th yr at NSIT having experience in NodeJS, Flask, Ruby-on-Rails, Angular, Python etc. I've been a GSoC'18 and GCI'17 Mentor with Systers, AnitaBorgInstitute and interned at GE India. All excited to contribute to CloudCV ! :)
    @gautamjajoo What is the last date for Mentor applications and Student applications?

    No, we already have implemented the basic set of features with Angular 5 and wed like to move forward with it only. Moreover, if you know react then I think it will be easy for you to switch to angular 5 as the concepts are similar.
    Hi @Vaibhavi24
    Welcome to CloudCV!
    What is the last date for Mentor applications and Student applications?
    We are in the process of selecting the mentors and once the requirements are met we'll close the application. There is no hard deadline as such but most probably we'll close the applications on 17th March as we've already received a lot of applications.
    Thanks @kurianbenoy for the help.
    Wadinga Leonard
    @wadleo
    Hi everyone, I am Wadinga Leonard, an MTECH student in Software Engineering of the Univeristy of Buea. I have 2+ years experience working with angular in a startup. I will love to contribute to CloudCV during GSOC as a way of giving back to the open source world and particularly because I'm interested in the machine learning, and I wish to take my career to AI and ML. I would like to start with what I'm good at, that's with handling angular related work in the EvalAI project and I have already set it up locally. I am currently trying to get a grasp of the code base and working on some issues on Github.

    @PalashTanejaPro
    hey @/all sorry a little late to the party for GSoC as I wasn't sure if I was eligible, but I'm Palash and I worked on CloudCV projects as a winner and mentor for Google Code-in. I am attending UT Austin this fall. I am already familiar with CloudCV's codebase and have worked with the technologies involved.

    @DigantaD
    Hello all,
    I am Diganta Dutta from India. I want to be a mentor at CloudCV for the upcoming GCI and GSoC programs. I was a part of Google Summer of Code, 2017 as a participant under Scilab. I was also part of the Fossasia Open Source Community. I was also a mentor at NJACK Winter of Code, 2017-18 (IIT Patna) for iSpy and I had mentored a team of 4. Currently, I work as a Machine Learning Engineer at a startup in Bengaluru, India (1 year experience) and am also a startup founder myself. 2018 was a rusty part for me on open source contributions and community involvements. Therefore I want to have a come back at the Open Source Community as soon as possible. I have been involved in Machine Learning and Deep Learning for almost 2 years now (1 year professionally) and I am sure CloudCV and its projects attract me a huge deal. So, I want to be a mentor as well as a contributor for the upcoming GCI and GSoC programs. I would be waiting for your response positively soon.
    Please guide me through all the processes for Mentorship as well as Contribution

    Hello @gautamjajoo I looked up the "good-first-issue" issues but the thing is those have been fixed by other contributors. Though the issues have been closed, does it indicate that I can also work on those issues?
