    Hello, I am Ashutosh Hathidara from India. I have been contributing opensource for 2 years or so now. I have contributed MAPE metric function in sklearn, Quantile huber loss in keras and in tensorflow. Also, there are many small contributions in other large projects too. I have experience in working with Databases, ML and DL models and statistical tools. Now, I am interested in working and contributing opensource projects of CloudCV. I am in a confusion that from where to start and on what to work on. If someone can suggest briefly, then that would be great for me to start my opensource contributions in CloudCV projects.

    @ashutosh1919 That's great to know! :D First of all, welcome to Cloud-CV!
    To give a brief overview of this org, there are three major projects (EvalAI, Fabrik and Origami) out of which active work is currently on in EvalAI (see https://gitter.im/Cloud-CV/EvalAI).
    There are three repos related to that:

    1. EvalAI: A platform for evaluating / comparing ML algorithms.
    2. EvalAI-ngx: the angular frontend for EvalAI which will be put in production in a few weeks
    3. EvalAI-cli: The CLI for EvalAI.

    Additionally, these are the contributing guidelines: https://evalai.readthedocs.io/en/latest/contribution.html which I hope will help with the rest of the context! :smile:

    @Suryansh5545
    Hi @AyanChoudhary Can you specify in which field you are good so i can guide you?
    if you are interested in front end based angular project then evalai and evaliai-ngx will serve you well
    Ayan Choudhary
    @AyanChoudhary
    I am interested in both frontend as well as backend and have been working as a full-stack developer for quite some time.
    Suryansh5545
    @Suryansh5545
    evalai is based on angularjs and django. so they might be a good start for you
    or perhaps if you are interested in react and AI then Fabrik and Origami will be good
    Ayan Choudhary
    @AyanChoudhary
    I have experience working in both react and django so I will take a look at both of these. Thanks for the suggestions.

    Hello everyone!! This is Himanshu Pandey. I am student in electrical engineering domain but I have done some courses in deep learning and I also know python. I am very interested in working for you guys for GSOC. As Computer Vision domain of machine learning excites me the most.
    Saif Ul Islam
    @Rubix982
    Hello! I'm Saif, a sophomore from Karachi, Pakistan. I'm really interested in the projects described, any my main professional advance for my career seems to lean towards ML, AI, DL, Computer Vision, but I'm not at all experienced with Docker, AWS, or Kubernetes - I have never gotten a chance to work on them, but they seem like something that I would like to learn. Of course I can cover the basics of all those in a day or two, but would it still be okay for me to apply for CloudCV if I just come with the basics?

    Kushal Chordiya
    @kushalchordiya216
    hey everyone, I'm Kushal, I know I'm late in introducing myself, but here goes. I have more than 2 years of experience with Machine Learning & Deep Learning, specifically with Image Processing using Convolutional Networks and 1.5 years of working with Django. I've got some background working with AWS, Docker, Nginx, and substantial experience with SQL databases. I feel like given my current portfolio moving into the cloud space is the next logical step for me, and it does seem like a very active and interesting domain, so I'm excited for an opportunity to contribute to this project
