    Kushal Chordiya
hey everyone, I'm Kushal, I know I'm late in introducing myself, but here goes. I have more than 2 years of experience with Machine Learning & Deep Learning, specifically with Image Processing using Convolutional Networks and 1.5 years of working with Django. I've got some background working with AWS, Docker, Nginx, and substantial experience with SQL databases. I feel like given my current portfolio moving into the cloud space is the next logical step for me, and it does seem like a very active and interesting domain, so I'm excited for an opportunity to contribute to this project
Hello Everyone. My name is Mohit and i am persuing bachelor degree in Computer Science Engneering in India. Enough of the Introduction part. I am a open source enthusisast and I really liked the Idea of CloudCV. So i want to start my journey in opensource world with this org and i just want to get started. So if any of the dev is available for a little push that will be really helpful for me as I am a newbie here!
    Saif Ul Islam
Hello @mrmtheboss , what kinda push are you looking for, exactly?
@Rubix982 as a newbie i am still learning the tech stack!!! will soon start working

    Hi, guys!
I was unable to qualify for GSoC this year, though I'm still energetic to contribute and add what I can. Is there anything else I can do except looking into issues?
Guidance from a mod would be appreciated. Thank you!
    Hi Team ,
I am shraddha i am interested to contribute for CloudCv can anyone please guide me ?

@shraddhavp That's great to know! :D First of all, welcome to Cloud-CV!
To give a brief overview of this org, there are three major projects (EvalAI, Fabrik and Origami) out of which active work is currently on in EvalAI (see https://gitter.im/Cloud-CV/EvalAI).
There are three repos related to that:

1.EvalAI: A platform for evaluating / comparing ML algorithms.
2.EvalAI-ngx: the angular frontend for EvalAI which will be put in production in a few weeks
    3.EvalAI-cli: The CLI for EvalAI.
Additionally, these are the contributing guidelines: https://evalai.readthedocs.io/en/latest/contribution.html which I hope will help with the rest of the context!

I'm sure you've heard the news about GCI.
I'm working with a few other developers on a replacement. Would anyone like to join our IRC channel, #osci on Freenode?
    Arijit Roy
    Hello team,
I am Arijit and I am interested to contribute to CloudCV. Can anyone help me get started?
    Dikshant Jagota
Greetings, Can you tell me how to become mentor for GCI?
    Kaustubh Maske Patil
    Hey! @dikshantj,
2019 was the last year of GCI and it has been discontinued, (https://codein.withgoogle.com/archive/). GSoC is still on for next year, and you can go through the contribution guidelines. (Here's for EvalAI - https://evalai.readthedocs.io/en/latest/contribution.html)
    Abhinav Talari
Hey everyone , I am new to cloud CV and i have finally decided to contribute to CloudCV, I was hoping if anyone could guide me, to get started !
Hello everyone! This is himanshu pandey. I am from India, I am an undergrad. I have some experience in django framework and I really am interested in your platform. Being able to implement ML algos as they appear in papers will be a wonderful task to accomplish. So, I went ahead and looked for issues and installation. During installation I am facing an issue during yarn install, despite having a proper internet connection it is showing there is some issue in your network retrying and then it exits the build process
Is there any way to overcome this
I haven't been able to set it up locally
    I am building it on WSL2/Ubuntu 20.04
And I didn't mention I was talking about EvalAI
    Aditya Kandekar
Hi, I am Aditya and I am new to open-sourcing if anyone is open to help, it will be great. I am an engineering undergrad student at IIT Guwahati and familiar with C++, Python and frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch. Thanks!

Sir/Ma'am,I am a third year computer science undergraduate at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, Delhi. I am actively looking for some good GSoC organisations to contribute. I am interested in web development and have worked with JS, NodeJS, MongoDB and currently learning AngularJS. I am also interested in C++ programming and have good foundation in data structures and algorithms.
I saw your github profile and thought of asking you if your organisation can be a good organisation for me to start. If yes, please guide me on how to begin and let me know how can I contact you for further help.

    Prajwal Sood
Hello everyone, I am sophomore at IIT Mandi, India and i recently came across the EvalAI platform. Upon learning that it is an open source project, I was interested in contributing towards the organization. My skills involve python, TensorFlow and deep learning. I have a background in deep learning (working on it for last one year) and mostly work in deploying deep learning models on edge devices. Apart from that I also actively compete and contribute datasets on open-source platforms like Kaggle. So I feel I would be able to make valuable contributions to the organization, for now I will look to work on basic issues on GitHub. Hoping to hear from you soon!
Hi, I am very new to programming and I am hoping that won't be a problem to contribute to this project. I just know the basics of python and c++ programming. But I am learning more as we speak. If there are any good courses that will help me in contributing to this project, please let me know. I will be glad to learn that. It would have been helpful if someone could guide me on how to start here. Thank you!
Hello everyone. I am new to this community, and i am familiar with python , tensorflow, deep learning, machine learning and git&github. Really interested in contributing to this fine organization. Can someone please guide me through?
