    @vpn1997 hey, i have got some leads on the issue Cloud-CV/Origami#257 . Waiting for your feedback.

    @SiddhantJ19 I've renamed my site domain name and display name as localhost:8000 and updated the SITE_ID in settings.py, by fetching the ID of localhost:3000 from manage.py shell. But the issue doesn't resolve.

    This time the issue rises in SocialApp

    Isn't the project also
    *You can't use Python 3.5 as this project is only python 2.7.
    Also I feel this issue is because you haven't configured database properly in project
    Adrish Dey
    @captain-pool
    @kurianbenoy I've followed all the steps as given in the README.md to configure the postgres database and for installing the project. I don't feel that it is because of database misconfiguration. It is missing some entry from the database, maybe the github one.. But as far as I remember I copied all the clientID and client secret as given by github... the error occurs when I click on My Demos.
    Kurian Benoy
    @kurianbenoy
    I feel python manage.py migrate migrate migrate might work out
    Adrish Dey
    @captain-pool

    Actually, I'm trying to figure out how to host a demo on the web application.. Can you please give me some hints how to do that??

    I've been doing this:

    1. Creating an App on the webapp. (providing name, operating system, etc.) and submitting it. This gives me a 404 inside the webapp.
    2. Then, I'm creating a test app with the same name I provided on the webapp, using origami_lib which is running on default port 9001 [WORKING]
    but.. I'm unable to see any results in the webapp.
    it still gives 404 inside the webapp..
    Kurian Benoy
    @kurianbenoy
    @captain-pool I think the issue is because Social account model of django-allauth doesn't get registered in postures database. As you pointed maybe due to Github credentials not being properly set or database not registering model.
    Please mention the mentors in group for other issue. They may be able to help you out
    Adrish Dey
    @captain-pool
    @kurianbenoy it worked! But, I'm still getting 404. When I am creating a demo, with name,description,system configuration and clicking on submit.
    The url it opens is, localhost:8000/instructions, and it shows no error message, just a 404 in a red bordered box. @vpn1997 can you provide some suggestions?
    even localhost:8000/help (upon clicking help option from the left pane)gives a 404.
    VIPIN SINGH
    @vpn1997
    @captain-pool hey you should switch to the latest branch.
    Adrish Dey
    @captain-pool

    @vpn1997 The Problem persists... I removed the repo... cloned it again... built the latest branch...

    Hey. there's something bugging me... Whenever I go for the Create Demo or My Demo... The Following Link shows up...
    http://localhost:8000/accounts/github/login/callback/?error=redirect_uri_mismatch&error_description=The+redirect_uri+MUST+match+the+registered+callback+URL+for+this+application.&error_uri=https%3A%2F%2Fdeveloper.github.com%2Fapps%2Fmanaging-oauth-apps%2Ftroubleshooting-authorization-request-errors%2F%23redirect-uri-mismatch&state=kY5I4QfO9vX2

    Also... There's something new with the latest branch. The DB_USER and DB_PASS are not the username and password for django admin page

    akata01
    @akata01
    @captain-pool The link above shows that your github OAuth app is not setup properly. Here is what you need to do. 1) You need to setup everything again and for that start with removing postgresql completely before cloning the repo. Open your command line and do dpkg -l | grep postgres .This will give you all the postgresql packages then run sudo apt-get --purge remove < all package names with space in between>. Then run sudo rm -rf /var/lib/postgresql/ sudo rm -rf /var/log/postgresql/ sudo rm -rf /etc/postgresql/
    This will remove postgresql completely, now setup everything again following the docs correctly and if everything goes right up until now you will be shown initial setup page now go to your github and setup "OAuth App" following the docs. That's it.

    @akata01
    @vpn1997 i have deployed the revised mockup to the same link. Please let me know what you think of it.
    akata01
    @akata01
    @captain-pool before creating demo make sure are actually logged in. To check click on the hamburger on the right topmost corner and you should see your profile picture and link to your github and your demo count should be zero as you are just starting out.
    Adrish Dey
    @captain-pool
    It worked! I made a mistake while registering the domain name for django.. Thanks @akata01
    Also, is there any usage manual for the application which can help me get through the process of setting up a demo, running it etc?
    Adrish Dey
    @captain-pool
    I found some documentation online and created a sample application using origami-lib.. when I'm trying to upload the code it gives an internal server error..
    I tried uploading the zipped up code.. and .py file... but it failed in both the cases... The error message for both cases are

    Hello everyone!!
    My name is Animesh and I am a second year undergraduate student and I'd like to know how to get started with CloudCV and contribute to the various issues and features. Thanks in advance!!
    Kurian Benoy
    @kurianbenoy
    Hi Animesh welcome to CloudCV. Try to set up the development environment by following README and then go on solving issue mentioned here (https://github.com/Cloud-CV/Origami/issues)
    Kurian Benoy
    @kurianbenoy
    What docker command is to be run when I am entering system again after installation?
    docker run -d -p 6379:6379 --name origami-redis redis:alpine is giving already initialised container error
    akata01
    @akata01
    @kurianbenoy what do you mean by entering system again? You just need to fire up the three terminals to get the app running.
    Tushar Mittal
    @techytushar

    docker run -d -p 6379:6379 --name origami-redis redis:alpine is giving already initialised container error

    Use docker ps -a to list the already existing containers, and remove the redis:alpine container using docker rm <CONTAINER ID>

    Kurian Benoy
    @kurianbenoy

    @techytushar docker ps -a and removing containers didn't work. What worked was:
    λ ~* sudo netstat -nlpt |grep 6379 λ ~* sudo service redis-server stop

    Also is there permanent thing for docker setup like: I can run the docker container when I get back.
    like docker run -it <container-id>

    Kurian Benoy
    @kurianbenoy

    Also why are we always firing these commands when we are running Origami:
    python manage.py runserver --noworker

    python manage.py runworker

    Is one for django channels and other for general server?
    Also it would have been nice if we could fire 3 terminals at same time with some bash script / other configuration(not docker) ?

    Thanks for all the help so far @techytushar and @akata01
