How do I import a class of a library installed by Pod?
It says it cannot be found when I import it.

Hi, there! How to add additional sdks and custom build rules in podspec file? Thanks in advance.

Hi,guys. I puzzle about what`s the difference among scheme and target and configeration in xcode project . Is there article explain them clearly?

Is doing a 'pod init' inside a directory created via 'pod lib create ...' a supported scenario? It doesn't seem to have worked for me but otherwise how would one specify upstream dependencies of the pod they're in the process of creating?

Is there a solution for this header file not found problem that's been around since 2015 with no solutions? stephencelis/SQLite.swift#505
It appears setting header_dir on a pod with a dependency to SQLite.swift completely screws the the header search paths for the pod lib lint project
I have a dummy test podspec with a single swift file as a source. I have SQLite.swift as a dependency. When I lint that with --no-clean, in the project dir, Pods/Headers is empty. There are also no errors. When I include a private pod of mine that specifies s.header_dir (as per the docs), Pods/Headers is populated with a nonsensical flat structure of headers from all the dependencies, including SQLite.swift, and the header search paths are set to these directories (Pods/Headers/...) instead of what it should be, which appears to be "${PODS_CONFIGURATION_BUILD_DIR}/SQLite.swift/SQLite.framework/Headers"
The dependency I am adding with SQLite.swift is two static libs bundled together into a pod. I lint with --use-modular-headers and --use-libraries
    Thomas Havlik
Yeah this is related to --use-modular-headers and --use-libraries
which I need to use for my private pod...
    Thomas Havlik
If I don't pass --use-libraries then I get target has transitive dependencies that include static binaries:
target has transitive dependencies that include static binaries:
This is a commercial, proprietary binary that I need to link with and have no hope of recompiling it from source to work with dynamic linking

This is a huge problem with the current build system CocoaPods/CocoaPods#7234
I have found many threads like that, often marked as closed with no solution or the accepted solution is to hack the Podfile, which doesn't apply to podspec authoring
it appears I need static_framework on both pods
Has anyone tried to add a custom framework to a CocoaPod? I'm building by binaries with gomobile so I have a framework. But I do not know how to add a custom built framework to a CocoaPod. I tried to add it to vendored_framework or added the header files to the source_files

Hi! I have a question: if I use spec.swift_versions in my Podspec (which is 1.7 functionality), and publish the pod with using pod 1.7 beta, will Cocoapods 1.6 clients encounter difficulty using the published pod?
naturally this is a bit tricky to test, because to do so would actually involve publishing a potentially bum version of my pod, which is not ideal.

    Why oh bc why
Why be dead reprise and assist by devolving your extensive knowledge
in case this channel is not dead, anybody knows how can I tell cocoapods to #include a specific .xcconfig inside the one it generates ?
(I can't do the reverse, since cocoapods generate one .xcconfig by target / config couple..., so that means creating multiples .xcconfig on my side to include the appropriate cocoapod one

I need to add #include a file in .xcconfig generated from pods. Is there some way to specify this in podspec file?

    Hello people 👋
    Maxime Veber
I'm trying to install version 19.4.1 of Stripe but I have an error saying "None of your spec sources contain a spec satisfying the dependency: Stripe (~> 19.4.1)." besides the platform should be ok ( https://github.com/stripe/stripe-ios/blob/v19.4.1/Stripe.podspec#L12 )
I tried pod install --repo-update, nothing better.
