Hi I've imported the JS101 site to glitch now, and it just worked. Amazing! - I am at home tomorrow and going to work on it again, if anybody else has time we could have a look at it together on hangouts perhaps. You can also commit back to the repo from there, it commits to a branch called 'glitch'. I have made a few purposefully small commits, can then cherry-pick them to go into master. You can view the glitch version (have made small changes to homepage) here https://foul-sage.glitch.me/ and here is a link for editing https://glitch.com/edit/#!/join/83fc1e8a-38e0-4018-9726-a9ebc0a45bd7

@katjad Great use of glitch! Makes commenting instant!
Looking good. What do you think about renaming the home page feature ‘How do we benefit?’ to 'How can you benefit?
I think we should pull through the next meet up details and display then on the home page. This is done on the holding site already via the meet up API.
Nice home page side menu @katjad. Will add it to the git page!
Would be also nice to improve the roll over on the menu, will do if I have time.
Would be nice to have a short description of the showcase projects as well.

A table would be nice for the about page Example Agenda to make it more readable.

@rinse0ut Ha, already when I first put it there, I was not quite sure how to name this. 'What are the benefits', 'how can you benefit' (so I thought of that too ;) ), 'how does it help' or not have it there at all.. But 'How can you benefit?' might be the best actually

I think it’s nice because it’s ‘we’ …then ‘you’ in terms of address.

@rinse0ut good you like the side menu - was thinking we could split it into list of items that link to different sub pages, and those that link to anchors on the page - I am not going to do at that now. I think I might create a Google doc about structure of content and nav, plus do some more smaller changes. But it is probably good to agree on nav structure before putting something in place on a whim
Can then also look what to prioritise, what is absolutely necessary to have for first release

Please comment in the doc https://docs.google.com/document/d/1t6m1E69j9bZLE6eBqsE-9Wftjey87-1i6FRG8eF_-t0/edit?usp=sharing (anybody who has ideas/opinion about it) @rinse0ut Wondering what best to start with now; I would really like to do a generic template with a fixed-on-scroll side nav because I think it would really help organising the content we already have - but not sure whether now or perhaps tonight, after have heard more opinions on it
P.S. Have moved careers into 'About' section, as not sure it currently big enough to be its own menu point. Introduced new menu point 'Reference' which can have best practice, git, glossary as sub pages; removed What-we-do from top again, also under About (only in the doc for now)
I'll start with the Gitter chat icon and the agenda table

The latest JS101 changes are now on Glitch https://foul-sage.glitch.me/ Previous version of site still here https://staging.javascript101.co.uk/ (changes are only on Home and About, + chat icon) I thought Glitch would import from the glitch branch once that exists, but it imports from master - have now deleted previous glitch branch -- was very messy anyway -- , with next export from Glitch a new one will be created
@Gicela looking forward to feedback!
