@TimWebb
Hi! Welcome to our new Gitter board for CodeTogether.
Aaronlonin
@Aaronlonin
Hi! :D
Timothy Webb
@TimWebb
Hi Aaron, welcome!
Aaronlonin
@Aaronlonin
Most likely you have already talked about it. But how easy is it to integrate codetogether into gitter?
Easier or more complicated than do it in slack?
Timothy Webb
@TimWebb
Great question ... this would be the public forum. There is a Gitter API with a streaming integration that theoretically would allow us to do some integration, or somehow embed gitter in a site.
Aaronlonin
@Aaronlonin
Yeah I was thinking, we might want a sandbox room for developers coming to ask some questions/help with code and starting CT Sessions
Timothy Webb
@TimWebb
That's an interesting idea!

Hey Guys, just installed CodeTogether and going to explore a bit now.
Timothy Webb
@TimWebb
@Aaronlonin Happy to report that you can now access Gitter right from the participant web client under the Help menu.
@srivatsan-srajan Great, please let us know how it goes!

@janlimpens
Hi, just installed. I am unable to start a session via vsc and firefox. Start Session asks for my email (registered it already), it then tells me to create a new account (it does not seem to recognize my email address).
I can log in with these credentials alright.
Brian Fernandes
@brianfernandes_twitter
@janlimpens that's odd - can you shoot me your email address? unfortunately not able to check this immediately, but will send you an update as soon as our team gets in tomorrow.
do you get to the password prompt?
Timothy Webb
@TimWebb
One other thought is if you activated your email?
Astrid Sawatzky
@astridsawatzky_gitlab
thank you for this brilliant tool .
This is the first one, that makes nearly instant sharing possible.
Brian Fernandes

glad you're enoying it, Astrid :)
are you using Eclipse or VS Code?
Astrid Sawatzky
@astridsawatzky_gitlab
I use eclipse and tested it with someone on the web
I used firefox as browser
Brian Fernandes
@brianfernandes_twitter
understood, great.
