Hello everyone! A lot of you have been asking for the ability have multiple people code simultaneously in a session - and we're releasing this capability in CodeTogether 2.0 :) Here are some other features you may find interesting too: https://www.genuitec.com/codetogether-2-0-gets-simultaneous-coding/

Very sorry for the inconvenience. An SSL cert was incorrectly updated. We are working on it and will be restored shortly. In addition, we are reviewing policies to make sure our edge-server AMI image is not updated without more testing.

share console output, workaround for eclipse:
in run configuration-> tab common ->
set output file to a file in the workspace.
Open the log file in eclipse editor

Sometimes it does not synchronize correctly but if the host types a space in that file it will trigger resynchronization.

Works at least for me

Hi all, not sure if this is the place to report an issue...
I'm running plugin v.2.0.0-00434 for PHPStorm (IntelliJ) and get an immediate error as soon as someone connected to my instance starts typing. I'll post full stacktrace in thread.

Hello! I couldn't find anything on the github issue tracker, is there a way for non-hosts to get vim bindings in the editor? That's the only functionality it seems to be missing to be a floobits replacement for me.

@brianfernandes_twitter
it's possible that we haven't added the flutter grammar, i'll check with the team.
what IDE are you using?
cubeaction
@cubeaction
android studio
Brian Fernandes
@brianfernandes_twitter
thanks, I don't have much experience with Flutter, but is your code written in Dart?
cubeaction
@cubeaction
yes
Brian Fernandes
@brianfernandes_twitter
okay, we ahven't specifically looked at Dart, so that's something we can add a grammar for without too much trouble. are you getting content assist though? I believe shared coding should still work with Android studio
cubeaction
@cubeaction
no content assist either :(
but plugin works for coding, there is just nothing highlighted and no suggestions when typing

Hi, first time user here, this is really interesting.
Is there any way for two users to use CodeTogether at the same time from VSCode? Or is only the Host from VSCode?

Hello! I just installed the IntelliJ plugin via the file on the website. I was able to host a session and try it out locally. After ending that session, I was unable to connect to the server. Restarting, logging out and back in, uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin did not help. I uninstalled the plugin and installed via the IntelliJ marketplace and that seems to be working again. Just wanted to give a heads up!

Next question: from the documentation, it doesn't look like both participants can use IntelliJ, only the host can. Is that right?
Brian Fernandes
@brianfernandes_twitter
that is correct, only the host uses the IDE, the rest join via browser.
