Hello! The on-premise installation guide doesn't specify hardware requirements. I intend to setup a test environment on our AWS infrastructure with a license for up to 25 connections. Could you please share recommendations regarding server sizing (i.e. CPU, RAM, etc.)?

Hello! I started a Docker container to test the on-premise setup guide and see if I would run into any problems. Configuring the license and SSL settings worked fine and the container started. I visited https://<server>/clients to download the IntelliJ plugin and installed it into my IDE. Now my IDE is stuck connecting:
I'm using a self-signed certificate and would expect that to be the problem but I have no means of telling what is going on. Is there a log I can access somehow?

Starting a new thread just to keep the topics apart.
As discussed in the previous threat, the IDE setting "Trust all SSL certificates" was not checked. In the meantime, I confirmed that my CodeTogether config specifies "export CT_TRUST_ALL_CERTS=true". Should this have caused the "Trust all SSL certificates" to be checked?

How can I select a specific version of CodeTogether On-Premise? Initially, I pulled the "latest" image but I would like to be able to pin the version.
I tried to pull hub.edge.codetogether.com/latest/codetogether:4.0.0 as well as hub.edge.codetogether.com/4.0.0/codetogether but both return "404 Client Error: Not Found".

Hello again! I created a team in our CodeTogether cloud trial and added three colleagues and myself to the team. Unfortunately, I cannot connect to my team members because the CodeTogether plugin doesn't list any teams that I am a member of. Could you help me out please?

Hello there! I upgraded our on-premise dev deployment to use 4.0.1b but unfortunately I cannot confirm if my deployment was successful because the deployed version is 4.0.1-00895. Would you consider to chose Docker tags that match the version either by adding the '-00895' or by increasing the patch version, e.g. to 4.0.2?

Hello there! I invited a colleague of mine to join our CodeTogether Team but she cannot create the account. When she fills out the form and clicks on 'Join Team', the form does not proceed. I have her in a call right now and took screenshots that I can share privately.

Hello again! A colleague and me just collaborated on a Readme but CodeTogether did not align the different views of the Readme in my IntelliJ and her PyCharm. Basically, as I was typing in the Readme file, she had the "Show Preview only" mode active and the "driving" didn't work properly. Is this an issue you would consider as request for improvement?

Hey there! I have a question about the workflow around the plugin: Can we use the "marketplace" plugin with the on-premise version and configure the plugin accordingly? I'd rather not have everyone install the plugin via disk and then be forced to manually update the plugin every time we update the on-premise solution.
However, I also wonder what happens if a new version of the plugin is available via the marketplace but our on-premise is not updated for a while. Will that cause issues?

I got a problem, so basically the files dont display in Rider, all i see is the .idea folder and rider.module, can someone help me?
Hey Marcel, we apologize for the poor I itial experience. But due to Rider’s unique architecture, joining sessions from Rider has lots of issues. We show a warning about that in the current release, but honestly the issue is so bad that in the coming update we’ll vector Rider participants to a browser to join a session so they can have full support. Hi, running an on-premises poc for codetogether and having issues with the vscode extension. Have installed the VSIX file and checked settings point to local install but the extension instead has been stuck on starting for well over half an hour now. Any advice on how to debug the issue or what logs I can check to see what the actual issue is

Yes. Have no issues with IntelliJ but cannot get vscode connecting
Just hangs on extension is starting for session window and connecting to codetogether teams server on team window

I just created my team so I could join sessions
regardless, here is a summary: If your team mate has a running session, you will see it under the Remote Sessions node in the CodeTogether view. this documentation has instructions on how you can join the session: https://www.codetogether.com/docs/getting-started-with-codetogether/
just to be clear, CodeTogether is not a tool used to join public coding sessions. this is a tool for developers to join sessions started by other developers in their company. So if you wanted to code with a colleague or friend, ask them to host a session and share the URL, or you host the session and share the URL with them.
