    no
    Wade Baglin
    @pleb
    no problem. otherwise we could have got the version from the packages.json file
    all good
    fastlink30
    @fastlink30
    aaa, yes, good idea
    was 5.0.1
    i look backups
    Wade Baglin
    @pleb
    ah yeah right. 5.0.1 is very old. it was the last version before Brad stopped working on PP. I've taken over the project in the last two months, hence the newer versions coming out
    next on my list is to write integration tests for querying. I'll start with your issue. until then, maybe keep using 5.0.1

    @fastlink30
    i see, now many updates every day! :)
    can i suggest something?
    Wade Baglin
    @pleb
    sure
    fastlink30
    @fastlink30
    replace the string.format() to $""
    is more readable
    add possibility to do multiquery (i see is already on the way)
    Wade Baglin
    @pleb
    yeah agree. however, because people, like yourself, can include the source file I have to keep to c# 5 and therefore I can't use c# 6 in PP.
    fastlink30
    @fastlink30
    add possibility to do bulkinsert
    i thinked was this the cause for string.format
    Wade Baglin
    @pleb
    Multiquery is there (not tested yet), MARS is planned, and bulkinsert..... interesting! Like it
    fastlink30
    @fastlink30
    i not know if this already happen, but with the 5.0.1 is is impossible connect to the db server the dll do exception, without possibility to intercept (if i remember well)
    yes, sometimes we need to insert massive data all in one, we have routine for this (found in internet)
    Wade Baglin
    @pleb
    added bulk inserts/updates to the roadmap https://github.com/CollaboratingPlatypus/PetaPoco/wiki/Roadmap
    fastlink30
    @fastlink30
    better implementation of exception
    Wade Baglin
    @pleb
    better exception handling. :white_check_mark:
    fastlink30
    @fastlink30
    actually we override the onexception to not stop the program, we set a flag to see is all run well
    Wade Baglin
    @pleb
    added to the list
    fastlink30
    @fastlink30
    and if set, look what exception occurred
    Wade Baglin
    @pleb
    yeah I was thinking about adding basic logging in PP. Then allow people to link the PP logging with their logging of choice commonlog, log4net, nlog, etc
    fastlink30
    @fastlink30
    this is interesting
    documentation, sometimes is difficult found info (for this we use the source), and much more, examples of the various functions
    is not difficult use PP but sometimes....
    Wade Baglin
    @pleb
    I've been adding docs recently, have you seen the wiki? https://github.com/CollaboratingPlatypus/PetaPoco/wiki
    although not very good for version 5.0.1 :(
    fastlink30
    @fastlink30
    yes, i see, but not much info anyway :) sorry
    for example tag for poco entity?
    [PetaPoco.ResultColumn] etc?
    transaction?
    how to pass parameters?
    Wade Baglin
    @pleb
    Good points
    fastlink30
    @fastlink30
    parameters for insert .. values()
    or how to insert bytes[] with query...
    etc..
    all arguments we have found during the development of our application
    anyway at the moment the most important for us is the dynamic bug :)
    Wade Baglin
    @pleb
    all good all good
    I'll ensure I take a look at your bug this week ;)
    except and update soon
    I have to run. speak you to soon @fastlink30
