Nut.
So are you guys planning on having ones all over as needed?

By 'ones' do you mean sensors?
Yes.

No, we're using different boards.
Arduino is just easy for debugging.

Enough things to work on as is. Sometimes it's nice just to have a solid usb connection.

I had most have the BMP280 all figured out on particle side. Then to just get this particle Johnny give implementation I found working
Sorry, Johnny five. I'm about to go toto. Sleep. Odd schedule.

CommonGarden/Grow.js#77
I think we can use something like Siren with Grow-IoT... it will allow easy integration with particle.
Particle Johnny five plugin?
covers face for pimpslap
I'm trying, I'll sit and struggle with it tonight. I just got sensors soldered yesterday and tested on arduino earlier after failing to wire the BMP280 to photon correctly
Because I just glance at stuff and dive in.

Hah, no. As much as I love Johnny-Five, the particle-io board doesn't run javascript directly.
That IO plugin is really just a wrapper for working with the Particle API.
Full rest support will be much nicer in the end. Especially because there are lot's of other devices like electric imp or anything IFTTT...

Rest is huge. iftff is awesome.
How is drdoser coming alot. saw sample code nice work. I wondering if a light senser turn on growlight is taking automation too far. A time will probably do the job

Dr. Dose is coming along nicely. Light sensors, wouldn't be useful in a room that has no windows, but could be useful in a room that gets Sun only part of the day. For example, turn off the lights if the sensors register full sun to save power.
