Anyone here done any research on decaying currencies? I've been doing some work based on bootstrapping disaster recovery and was hoping someone could tell me that it is a fools errand so I can go pick up a sledgehammer and knock out some drywall instead.
Not sure if this is the point of this channel, but I hope so. Would love a place to talk about big crypto ideas.

Hey @skilesare how did you come about this idea?

Hey everyone. Is it possible to create a currency that has same mining efficiency on cpu and gpu?
Also have a look at https://github.com/kishansagathiya/webcoin/blob/master/README.md and please give me some feedback and suggestions

Hey guys, can anybody here verify that the code at 0xA7a677183373CA33a65f00084eB81747c8AE5F03 is indeed the HumanStandardTokenFactory?
Karen
@thekscar
@buhrmi Well, looks like a published address by Consensys https://media.consensys.net/how-to-create-your-own-tokens-standard-token-factory-for-humans-deployed-e92649a1bb5e. But it also looks like the actual contract has been updated since that date. (https://github.com/ConsenSys/Tokens) I'm not sure which contract they launched from the date in that article, but you can also throw the contract in Remix, get the bytecode and compare the bytecode with that found on Etherscan.io for that contract address.
Stefan Buhrmester
@buhrmi
@kds0718 right. is the updated contract deployed anywhere? looks simple enough to build an ICO-maker or something with it
i'm also interested if anybody here heard about hashgraph

Hi guys, not sure if this is the right gitter btw
Do you know if the Consensys/PLCRVoting contract enables user to commit multiple votes on a listing? (for example 1 vote for and 1 against)

Hey guys, I recently read that Ethereum doesn't use the part of the BIP44 derivation path dedicated to accounts. What happens if I still use it?

I just tried generating addresses under this path m/44'/60'/1'/0/n, opened MyCrypto with my Trezor and I can access such derivation path. Also, I can see and send funds from these addresses.

Should I worry about some future consequence?
