Hello, after installing the user kit the 2nd time, the template still doesn't show up in VS2019.
Nor in 2013.
Help would be appreciated.
KM198912
@KM198912
VS2013 is not at all supported
Quajak
@quajak
were you able to run the demos in the devkit?
iiRockyboy199YT
@LordRockPeople_twitter
Not yet, installing the devkit rn.

were you able to run the demos in the devkit?

which demo should I choose, kernel.cs or?

@quajak
Quajak
@quajak
try the GuessKernel.csproj
iiRockyboy199YT
@LordRockPeople_twitter
It opens up just fine.
No errors.
KM198912
@KM198912
can you compile it?
iiRockyboy199YT
@LordRockPeople_twitter
In which menu was compiling again?
I forgot.
Quajak
@quajak
you should just be able to click start
KM198912
@KM198912
press the "play button" or rightclick the solution and build
iiRockyboy199YT
@LordRockPeople_twitter
There's no button like that in VS2019 (for me) pressing Ctrl+D or Ctrl+Shift+D doesn't work too.
Nor f5.
KM198912
@KM198912
can you try loading the .sln instead of the csproj?
and then compile
iiRockyboy199YT
@LordRockPeople_twitter
I tried to open the graphic subsystem.sln and it spat out an error that the file doesn't work with that version of VS.
And I do have the latest 2019 version.
KM198912
@KM198912
can you screenshot the error? if it is in english :P
iiRockyboy199YT
@LordRockPeople_twitter
Sorry, it's in Polish.
KM198912
@KM198912
hmm ok
Quajak
@quajak
can you still post it? might be able to gleem some information of it
KM198912
@KM198912
can you throw the error in a translator?
iiRockyboy199YT

I had to try a different project to get the error to show up again.
KM198912
@KM198912

(about the only thing i can read)

Quajak
@quajak
ok this seems like the installation didnt fully work
KM198912
@KM198912
can you please rename Cosmos-master to Cosmos and try installing the DevKit again?
Quajak
@quajak
i think we can also fix this without installing the devkit
KM198912
@KM198912
steps aside for quajak

Do you have these extensions installed?
iiRockyboy199YT
@LordRockPeople_twitter
in the userkit?
Quajak
@quajak
no in VS
iiRockyboy199YT
@LordRockPeople_twitter
Or in the devkit (which won't install since "Inno setup" is missing which it is not)
Quajak
@quajak
they should be installed by the userkit
