    What does the JavaScript error console say?
    MarioB
    @Mario213b
    the are not errors in the Javascript console, the script simply did not work and i am now getting the list of directories when i pull localhost:8000
    can we have a voice chat so we can catch up and talk more in depth about this part of the process?

    @ahankinson
    I suspect that your diva.js directory is empty
    There would be errors in the JavaScript console. Do you know what this is? It's built-in to your browser and it shows the errors on the page when you are loading it. In Firefox it is under Tools->Web Developer->Web Console.
    if you are seeing a list of files, it means you have not started the web server in the right directory. You need to start it in the same directory where the 'index.html' file is.

    hi andrew, sorry late reply i was away and i am now back in the music faculty
    yes i seem to have an empty diva.js directory
    so maybe this is the reason i have the directory list when i run httpserver
    the javascript console giving me the error on the screen below

    I'm on vacation so i will look at this next week. If you want to figure it out yourself, you should look at getting the Diva.js code from github. You should check the commit number of the folder in the part book directory.
    I just checked -- you should get Diva.js 4.1.0.

    MarioB
    @Mario213b
    great hope all went well
    i managed to see something but that was because i was using the old csv files in partbook-viewer
    Andrew Hankinson
    @ahankinson
    Did you try the new CSV files?
    MarioB
    @Mario213b
    with the new csv i get this
    blob
    Andrew Hankinson
    @ahankinson
    OK. What have you tried to fix this?
    MarioB
    @Mario213b

    i tried to use the respectives csv dow or baldwin with jp2 but not joy
    Andrew Hankinson
    @ahankinson
    why not? Have you tried troubleshooting it?
    MarioB
    @Mario213b
    i noticed the the json file has only composition key numbers but the old one has comp key numbers and the folios
    Andrew Hankinson
    @ahankinson
    ok... did you try fixing it to see if that was the problem?
    MarioB
    @Mario213b
    yes i am looking at them at this moment, you think it should be fairly easy answer to this problem
    Andrew Hankinson
    @ahankinson
    I don't know. I think you need to figure this one out yourself.
    Andrew Hankinson
    @ahankinson

    Are you setting /srv/images somewhere? Look in the code for this line and remove it so that it's just the image filename
    MarioB
    @Mario213b
    ok
    var partbookNum = num;
    ?
    ok to remove this line?
    Andrew Hankinson
    @ahankinson
    Why? All you need to do is look for /srv/images/..... And remove that
    The problem is that it is giving the wrong path to the images. It just needs the filename, not the whole.path
    MarioB
    @Mario213b
    Andrew that worked but i am using the old dow json, the new json not so sure
    blob
    i will get back later to you at some stage with more feedback
