Why it's not working is beyond me
Dan Appel
@Danappelxx
Ok I'm going to try a workaround
Dan Appel
@Danappelxx
Alright, basically now I'm just using Carthage to fetch the Xcode projects and adding them to SwiftMongoDB.xcodeproj by myself
hopefully this should fix the bug where it skips building those other frameworks
Dan Appel
@Danappelxx
ok this is a huge number of commits - I'm going to do something nobody ever should and squash them together after pushing them to github :P
Dan Appel
@Danappelxx
Alrighty hopefully now it will work

Regarding your issue specifically @Saulc009, do you have an apple developer account? I think it may be necessary to go through the code-signing phase
if you don't have one - let me know, there are ways to circumvent it (which are a pain in the ass)

Hi Dan, same problem with "architecture" branch. I tried to do the same in two different computers but I get the same error. Could be a xcode configuration? Do you have that simulator installed in your machine (4F161478-B33A-4C02-BAFD-5E7B284D5FD9)?
Dan Appel
@Danappelxx
Damn.
I'm not at a computer right now, but have you tried building from source?
Run git clone --recursive http://github.com/danappelxx/SwiftMongoDB.got and open the Xcode project
Then select the SwiftMongoDB target and try building it
Juan SOLO
@juansoilan
It works, I think it must be a Carthage problem.
Dan Appel
@Danappelxx
Well, that's good I guess
You could do Carthage bootstrap --no-build and just add the xcodeproject meanwhile
Dan Appel
@Danappelxx
I'll file an issue with Carthage
Dan Appel
@Danappelxx
Actually, it's probably a good idea to push a zipped release
That way you don't have to do any messy stuff with carthage
Juan SOLO
@juansoilan
I think it's a good idea

Hi! I’m really looking forward to official Linux Support with Package Manager. Your work is truly amazing, but Linux support will actually make a huge step for server-side Swift.
Dan Appel
@Danappelxx
Yeah! I'm on the team behind Zewo so in definitely excited about server-side swift
I was working on SPM (you're not the first to request it :smile: ) but there are a few things getting in the way
( @dreymonde )
Oleg Dreyman
@dreymonde
Yeah, I saw you in Zewo Slack) That’s super nice to know that SwiftMongoDB will work smoothly with Zewo. Hope you’ll get rid of things in your way soon)
