Hi Stefan. I am very curious about the performance of the Cubes application. Have you got any data regarding how much data it is able to handle?
Just to give you some background I work extensively with Microsoft Analysis Services for developing cubes and tabular models so hence my question to see how and where Cubes would be an option

@Oli4Twist hi. Currently Cubes (in it's current stage) is performance agnostic and depends on performance of your database and your underlying model.
It tries to optimize the joins though – only joins necessary for your query are considered. It does not generate the whole star/snowflake for every query.

Thanks Stefan. So is it fair to say that Cubes operates in what is mainly know as ROLAP mode in the Microsoft SSAS world?

With the built-in SQL backend yes, it is ROLAP.

I have just signed up and discovered a load of discussions on repos I've worked on... weird :)
