I have a star scheme with for example one fact_table which has a referential integrity from 4 dimension tables... now i want to represent all the data from those 4 dimension tables which are also refereniated in the fact_table... i hope you understand what i have written..

For example the the fact_table looks like this
# cps_id, sector_id, company_id, time_id
and it has the entries '2', '4', '6', '8'
what i want as my result is the data which is referenced to this keys only..

i couldn't figure out how i could solve this problem with cubes..as the main purpose is OLAP i searched for a framework and found cubes..
final result should be .. -> chart diagrams or pivot tables..

ok but I don't quite get what you look for
what is your fact id? cps_id?
...and, when you say "the data which is referenced TO this keys", I don't quite get that. Can you give a more developed example?

In general, if you want to filter facts, you can do that with Cubes easily, using the "cuts".
Now, the question is, are you creating your model, or trying to construct a query? if so, are you using Cubes API or cubes HTTP API (though Cubes server).

If it's not an issue but a question, rather use the mailing list or StackOverflow, I reckon.
