[Florent, Datum] You can register a free domain on freenom.com and there is also DNS services to link the IP address to the registered domain.

You need to import an identity if you already have one otherwise you can just create a new one.

When creating an identity you will see a password then you will be shown on the screen two things related to your identity: 1) seed (12 words that you need to save somewhere) and 2) a long string named keystore that you also need to save somewhere.

Identities can be imported using the keystore and the password.

[Florent, Datum] That is your DAT deposit of 2000 from the Faucet. After depositing you should go further until the end of the registration flow. Then once you have completed the registration you will be able to see a transaction (node registration transaction) with a value of 1000 DAT. You will also be able to see the summary of the registration in the transaction details (Smart Contract, Events) 20-40 seconds after the transaction passes.

I got a question I am also using digital ocean to run this node.. I have set up all the ports etc..dns..however I am having problems finding the datum image ID in the container therefore when I run the code to connect with the server it's giving me a message that the container is in use or to replace the container.. Am I doing something wrong..

1) Can you send the command you used to run the storage node docker image

2) Below is a procedure you can follow:
a. run docker ps in order to list down the docker container currently running. If any container listed, go to step b. otherwise directly step c.
b. you can stop these containers by running docker stop [container_id or container_name] && docker rm [container_id or container_name]
c. run the command docker system prune then press key 'y' to say that you wanna clean up all docker unexpectedly stopped or cached images and other garbage.. This should clean up your docker properly then you can run the storage node docker image again

[roger, Datum] regarding maximum number of storage nodes, we capped it at 100 for first phase of public mainnet, but so far we are still testing and fine tuning storage nodes on the test network, you can run a storage node on the test network but running real storage nodes on the public mainnet will only be launched towards end of january

Responses... second I followed the steps you provided. 1. I downloaded the docker file but Its not showing up in the locker, yet when I download hello-world or Ubuntu it shows up. 2. When I re try it shows that the docker file is updated, when I imput the code provided its saying that the locker is in use...I have been stuck on this step for a week now..
