Log4CXX is used in the SaUtilsLib. But the code looks like its creating a wrapper class around it. So it might be something that can be replaced without too much of a mess. Qt has some built in logging capabilities, so that may be an option should log4cxx not work.

@/all So it turns out the main contributors to OSSIM are actually from Radiant Blue (one of the companies DGIS just acquired)! I can reach out to get some help. For context, what issues are you running into @surge-cmcgeorge

@DesPetrie: If it is not too much trouble, could you please see whether any of them were able to compile OSSIM (and, perhaps, log4cxx) successfully?

@surge-cmcgeorge Did you come across this page already by chance? https://trac.osgeo.org/ossim/wiki/WindowsBuild
Saw this on OSGEO's webpage, but not sure if it's useful to you

@DesPetrie: Thanks, Des. Yes, I saw this web page when I first started working on OSSIM. Unfortunately, the links on this web page no longer work so I cannot download the dependencies. So I contacted the forum but got no response and gave up on this web page.

okay thanks Chris. Hopefully we hear back soon from the guys at Radiant, Oscar Kramer or Dave Burken (they'll have to know!).
