So I tried that. And this doesn't prevent the date picker from continually winding down the clock.
Sean Doherty
@doughballs
Then there is an error in your code. Check the console? And remove everything other than the minDate, then add back in one by one, and check the console each time.
It is minDate, not min.
pauld0051
@pauld0051
ahhh, ok I will try. Thanks.
pauld0051
@pauld0051
I removed everything. I could still go back in time, but I just couldn't select a date. But I could keep going back.

I tried it this way - I removed everything. But it would still go back. Now, it doesn't just go back, it goes forward too :P
Sean Doherty
@doughballs
You don’t need all the other options. Strip it right back to just minDate. It works, you can see it works from my example - you have an error somewhere else. By adding the other options in one by one you will find it.

Cool, I am trying, honestly. Here's what I stripped it down to.

Here's me at 1911. Now, granted, I can not pick a date here. But I can get back to that part of the code.

Hi guys, can I ask one question here about HTMLCollection List? although it's not too much Materialize related. thx in advance.
I have a dynamic check list, using Array map function, get it from Google spreadsheet. as below pic..
image.png
the list appears on Web app successfully... with checkbox in front of each item.
EricTomphone
@EricTomphone
however I'm not able to change the checkbox status to do some other stuff, e.g.
if checklist[0].checked,
document.getElementById('inputarea').value = "checked";
else {document.getElementById('inputarea').value = "not checked";}
Sean Doherty
@doughballs
@pauld0051 great so that is working as it should. It sets the minimum date that can be selected.

@pauld0051 So it sounds like you need to add a max date if you want to cap the latest selectable date. The yearRange refers to the year dropdown - how many years are shown. The user can still click back and forward through the months, but since the dates are not selectable, it's not a big problem.
EricTomphone
@EricTomphone
@doughballs thanks bro... I hv checked that post, sorry I'm still not able to make it work...
Sean Doherty
@doughballs
@EricTomphone so what exactly do you need to do? Set a checkbox as checked, or not checked? Is this at time of render, or onto a pre-rendered set of checkboxes?
EricTomphone
@EricTomphone
@doughballs Hi bro, I have just found a video talking about the dynamic checkbox
and also the chips appear once item checked... that;s what I'm looking for. :)
thanks a lot, let me go thru the video, and will ask again if I still have troubles..

hi, I am using the same Materialize Autocomplete on 3 input elements. Then on onAutocomplete() I need to get the ID of the element the autocomplete was used on so I can populate data in the right place. I created a question on SO https://stackoverflow.com/q/65674742/250422
one more question. how can I increase a text size? I find it quite small to read

Hey everyone, I'm facing a weird issue with tabs, they all appeared "selected" when my page is loaded, like so :

I have multiple tabs in a single page, maybe that's the issue ? Any idea on that would be perfect, here's my simple code :

HTML

<ul class="tabs tabs-fixed-width">
    <li class="tab"><a href="#reports">Raports</a></li>
    <li class="tab"><a href="#testresult">Résultats de Test</a></li>
    <li class="tab"><a href="#historic">Historique</a></li>
</ul>

JS
$('.tabs').tabs();

Hi, i'm Thiago Icassatti from Brazil.

I have a simple issue to ask.

I'm try to put prev and next buton outside of carousel componente.
I folow this sample (https://codepen.io/Paco_Cervantes/pen/ZLxKpj)
But in my i have more then one corousel on my page. Thats de point: When i click in next icon no metter which carousel i call, the event run, to every others togther.
I know why, but not how to refactor my script. I'm using JQuery. All elements are select with class .carousel, becouse that all sliders move to next togther.
I don't want make a script for each #id of my carousels. I want a general script who know which id need to move.

Some one can help me?

Thiago Icassatti Santos
@icassatti

I found the way to resolve:

          $('.moveNextCarousel').click(function(e){
              var currentcarousel = $(this).closest("div.carousel");
              e.preventDefault();
              e.stopPropagation();
              currentcarousel.carousel('next');
          });

          // move prev carousel
          $(".movePrevCarousel").on("click", function (e) {
            var currentcarousel = $(this).closest("div.carousel");
            e.preventDefault();
            e.stopPropagation();
            currentcarousel.carousel('prev');
          });

Thank you guys.

Hi,
I'm Shawn from India.
I'm new to web dev and I'm trying to use materialize for a project I was tasked with trying to find out how to disable contrainWidth in a dropdown. By default, it is true, but I want to set it to false. On ver 0.100.2 in the site, there was documentation for changing options in line by adding them as data attributes. I've tried it on ver 1 but it hasn't worked. I've also tried experimenting with other options.So TLDR, I wanted to know if there is a way to quickly change one or two options of a JS element without having to dive into JSQuery since I don't really know it.

Hello, I am having a trouble using MaterializeCss with AngularJS, when a ng-options update, the UI of select is not refreshed, I need to call M.AutoInit() each time?
ernestoroca
@ernestoroca
I read that materialize is deprecated because it didn't changed in several years.
Is it secure to use it in commercial development?
