Dmitry Mozzherin
@dimus
i'll move it to production now
Viduranga Wijesooriya
@vpowerrc
you can also check "gh-pages" It's done now
Dmitry Mozzherin
@dimus
awesome!
Dmitry Mozzherin
@dimus
looks like environment is not read in new push
can you revert it back, for docker we do need env vars
Viduranga Wijesooriya
@vpowerrc
ohh I forgot to change it back. sorry. wait
Dmitry Mozzherin
@dimus
:+1:
Viduranga Wijesooriya
@vpowerrc
can you check now?
Dmitry Mozzherin
@dimus
sure
Dmitry Mozzherin
@dimus
New code is in
I think your help button needs a new url :)
Viduranga Wijesooriya
@vpowerrc
what's the url?
this should be the url I guess "http://eol.github.io/sysopia/"
but it's not working
Dmitry Mozzherin
@dimus
looks like you jekyll is misplaced
check this one out --
it is not a branch though
but the principle is similar
jeckyll is in the 'root' directory
and when you commit it it github grabs it and generates _site from it
Viduranga Wijesooriya
@vpowerrc
I don't understand. In the documentation, it was mentioned to create a new branch called "gh-pages"
Dmitry Mozzherin
@dimus
Right, thats the difference -- this site is standalone, but this should be pretty much the only difference
they have two different ways -- one for projects, one for users
for user -- if you call the repo in 'special' way -- github recognizes it
and for branch -- is the way your read
so they get different urls, but in the rest they are the same idea
Viduranga Wijesooriya
@vpowerrc
mmm, shall we check tomorrow? I'm heavy-eyed right now
not thinking straight
Dmitry Mozzherin
@dimus
I bet you are! Sure, I'll try to look at it in the morning too
Viduranga Wijesooriya
@vpowerrc
great
see you later then
byee
Dmitry Mozzherin
@dimus
good night
Dmitry Mozzherin
@dimus
very nice docs
Dmitry Mozzherin
@dimus

I would say we need 3 things to wrap up

  • add link to Help button
  • merge your code with master
  • change version to may be 0.5.0 ?

I will look at the bug that hides EOL data for 25 hors, 1 day etc...

It would be great also if you will write a blog post, GSoC folks love that, but it is optional.

@vpowerrc
I added tag using git tag -a v0.5 not it shows on my local repository, but not in github
`
Figured it out. I had to push the tags too :)
Dmitry Mozzherin
@dimus
right, you have to push tag specifically like git push --tags or just my giving tag name like git push v0.5 hoever I would retag is to v0.5.0 because it is the proper form -- major.minor.patch level
haha you were first :D
Viduranga Wijesooriya
@vpowerrc
Done v0.5.0
Dmitry Mozzherin
@dimus
:+1:
aweome, thanks man
Viduranga Wijesooriya
@vpowerrc
sure
Dmitry Mozzherin
@dimus
v0.5.0 is officially out :)
data is shown correctly now -- it was something I introduced when I started to collect data every 2 minutes
granularaity was always 10 as number of minutese was always odd, so I added a minutes table and use its id to calculate granularity. with such approach any interval of data collection would work fine
Viduranga Wijesooriya
@vpowerrc
Great to hear that, you have found the issue
