    I don't have a preference, somewhere around the bridges or lothian road would be easiest for me to get to since I'm coming from the south, but I don't mind walking wherever :)
    so anywhere with decent coffee, wifi and electrical sockets since my laptop battery life is measured in minutes rather than hours :worried:

    @mailavj
    Hey how was the meet up
    Karen McCulloch
    @kazzacarrot
    quiet!
    Just Kevin, my boyf and I
    had to call it quits when conversation turned to elections, democracy and dictatorships.
    But might have re-ignited a desire for group projects.
    I've just made a new channel for project ideas: https://gitter.im/EdinburghCodeCamp/project_ideas_dot_txt
    The name is derived from the file on every developers computer. "project_ideas.txt", where great ideas sit until you have the time to do them.

    Hi all :) Joined freeCodeCamp a few weeks ago, but I've been busy finishing coursework, now I'm done I'm going to throw myself into this :D looking forward to getting to know everyone. Currently working on the tribute page task, feedback very welcome! https://codepen.io/virtualtaoist/pen/EmdNzg
    Karen McCulloch
    @kazzacarrot
    Hi @leon-paul-hart
    What was your coursework on?
    Leon-Paul Hart
    @leon-paul-hart
    Funnily enough programming xD did an intense 16 week course at CodeClan... came out of it feeling like there's tons of information in there but its all jumbled. Only discovered freeCodeCamp towards the end of the course. Going to go through it all and see if it helps consolidate the stuff I (should) already know!
    Karen McCulloch
    @kazzacarrot
    Interesting... :)
    Leon-Paul Hart
    @leon-paul-hart
    So far it's going well, learning alot of HTML/Bootstrap stuff more in depth here, the main focus was on Object Oriented Programming using Ruby, Java and Javascript on the course, so they skimmed over the HTML and CSS.
    Saw you guys had a meetup at Akva not long ago? Shame I missed it. Discovered that place myself and its free filter coffee top ups! Great for studying :D
    Karen McCulloch
    @kazzacarrot
    What! Free filter coffee.
    Lets go back?
    Leon-Paul Hart
    @leon-paul-hart
    Yeah, buy the first one and you get free top ups! :D
    Karen McCulloch
    @kazzacarrot
    Neat.
    Weekend after next..?
