Oh, I see. Enact doesn't hanel any inside of the the playback, just use <video> standard tag.

Hi I already posted this issue on github but hope some one here might help I have am having an issue to make videojs to work properly as part of the video player.

here is my setup code <VideoPlayer id="videoplay" ></VideoPlayer>

and in component did mount I have `ComponentDidMount() {

    var options = {
        sources: [{
          src: 'http://demo.unified-streaming.com/video/tears-of-steel/tears-of-steel.ism/.m3u8',
          type: 'application/x-mpegURL'
        }]
      };

    this.player = videojs('videoplay', options, function onPlayerReady() {
        const video = document.getElementById('videoplay');

      });

      $('#overlays-wrap').appendTo($('#videoplay'));
} `
Is there a way to make it work like a usual video not just a small video in a left corner like seen https://ibb.co/1zP2SBw, BTW I tried different ways like setting width height but nothing seems to be working.

@ppabew_gitlab
is this the normal behavior? when pressing down or up key scroller will not move when the selected item is out of screen
Seungho Park
@seunghoh
@ppabew_gitlab Hi~
No it looks not normal. Focus should be move into the view. Which Moonstone version did you use?
Can you share your app code of snippet which you recored the video?
The latest Moonstone version is 4.0.0 and related Enact is also released 4.0

@seunghoh
Hi @alexxela1987_gitlab I am sorry that I missed your question. You seem already found the solution. BTW, please refer to the VideoPlayer API docs and sample

@ahmadfreijeh
hello all, I'm new to enact and i have a quick question how should i target multiple versions of webOS 4,5 and 6 in the same build?
Seungho Park
@seunghoh
Hi @ahmadfreijeh , what do you mean webOS 4, 5, 6 in the same build? Are you making pre-built app?
Then, I am afraid you can't. As you can see https://webostv.developer.lge.com/develop/enyo-enact-developer-guide/
webOS TV 4.0 has Enact 1.X wheres webOS 5.0 and 6.0 has Enact 3.X
You may create app based on Enact 3.2.5 for supporting webOS 5.0 and 6.0 both but you still need to check which UI components you use.
Moonstone was main theme until webOS TV 5.0 but Sandstone is main theme from webOS TV 6.0
Ahmad Freijeh
@ahmadfreijeh
Hi @seunghoh, i see got your point. what about WebOS 3.X how should i use Enyo in the app ?
And quick question how can i call like componentDidMount function ?
Seungho Park
@seunghoh
We deprecated Enyo and introduced Enact. We don't support Enyo anymore.
About componetDidMount, please refer to react doc https://reactjs.org/docs/react-component.html#componentdidmount
As Enact is a React component, I recommend you to stury React.
Ahmad Freijeh
@ahmadfreijeh
hmm as i can see kind in a functional component right?
Ahmad Freijeh
@ahmadfreijeh
and how could i navigate between screens ?
Seungho Park
@seunghoh
kind can be a class and functional both by seeting functional prop
https://enactjs.com/docs/modules/core/kind/
Ahmad Freijeh
@ahmadfreijeh
hmm what about navigating between components ?
Seungho Park
@seunghoh
I don't understand what you mean. Would you be more specific? If you are asking Enact Panels component then, https://enactjs.com/docs/modules/sandstone/Panels/
Ahmad Freijeh
@ahmadfreijeh
yup that's it
thanks !
Ahmad Freijeh
@ahmadfreijeh
quick qusrion
why i cant route between screens using import {Route} from '@enact/ui/Routable';
?
i have followed steps as in the doc

@ahmadfreijeh
Hello all
Can i use enact with tizen TVs?
Ahmad Freijeh
@ahmadfreijeh
And if yes what issues could i face?
Ahmad Freijeh
@ahmadfreijeh
and something else I'm trying to launch my app on TV but I got a black screen ?
Ahmad Freijeh
@ahmadfreijeh
?
valverde82
@valverde-marcelo
@ahmad-crossplatform your javascript code must be compatible with the browser engine
@ahmad-crossplatform for example, the web engine of webOS TV 3.x is Chrome 38 (see more: https://webostv.developer.lge.com/discover/specifications/web-engine/)
valverde82
@valverde-marcelo
@ahmadfreijeh therefore javascript ES5, ES6(ES2015) will not run...

@ericblade
wow.. long time here
if anyone's around, after entirely too many years of waiting, i've finally pushed my Enact app to a public server, and I hope to soon be opening it for public beta test, just as soon as i figure out a good way to handle subscriptions
Seungho Park
@seunghoh
Hi Eric, Yes, Enact team is still here :)
Good to hear that your app is almost ready. yay~

Hello World, I liked the font while looking around the site, so can I get it for personal use? "Enact Museo Sans"
Seungho Park
@seunghoh
Hi @brouk2426 Museo Sans license is restrected for use with Enact Application. Please refer to the full license at https://github.com/enactjs/moonstone/blob/master/fonts/MuseoSans/LICENSE.txt

@brouk2426
@seunghoh Thanks!!

@ericblade
anyone found a way to use absolute paths with enact? pretty sick of all the ../../../.. stuff :-D
Drake Witt
@DrakeWitt
@ericblade You can setup resolve aliases with Webpack, that should accomplish what you're looking for: https://webpack.js.org/configuration/resolve/
Eric Blade
@ericblade
@DrakeWitt how does one connect that with enact though
Seungho Park
@seunghoh
Hi @ericblade We fixed the absolute path issue on Enact CLI 4.0.2
Would you please update the Enact CLI and try again?
Eric Blade
@ericblade
@seunghoh :) i'm using 4.1.1 locally, is there something i need to configure ?
