@MikeSaleem Excellent work. And you seem to be very competent in your evaluations of Linux distributions.
Nice review David (I am a German speaker as well) and happy to see Enso getting some coverage!
@MikeSaleem Let's combine a couple of things and improve coverage on boutique distributions like Enso OS.
Thank you both for taking the time to review and publish articles for Enso, it's always appreciated and great to get some feedback from different people! Keep up the great work
Hello, with this new update is it possible to boot this distro on UEFI?
@amaitsu__twitter I can confirm that Enso OS 0.4 boots alright on UEFI systems
Hi all. I am very curious to use Enso in my daily works. I like its clean apperance in live mode. I have faced a problem such as "grub-efi-amd64-signed package failed to ...." while installing os. Is it possible to solve this issue?
Hi @nick92 - I downloaded Enso and was excited - look and feel is awesome! I think I'll take it as my standard Linux now. I am just having issues with internationalization as I am German. Although selecting German as default locale, time & date format, etc. there are some issues. E.g. I get 12h time format for greeter and ensodatetime panel plugin. Although I am not a GUI programmer I downloaded Enso sources and hacked around to get the time format for greeter and time panel plugin as I wanted it. The result can surely not be published, but I'd spend some time getting to know how to do it right. Do you know some xfce4 + vala programming resources I could have a look into?
hello how i can change the windows buttons order, like this order minimize, maximize and close
its posible to install elementary-twaks on enso os 0.4?
Oh no, it seems that Linux Format isn't what it used to be:
@Dodobeard the site is working for me, is anyone else having issues with it?
@nick92 it currently works for me too from a location in Italy. Does not work from other locations, odd.
When I start Enso OS 0.4, I get an error message asking me to report the error to Enso devs, and I also note that my Wifi access is disabled. Once I enable it, I connect instantly, and don't see any further error messages. Are these two issues related, and how do I adjust my settings to have wifi activated at bootup? (It is not automatic, I've rebooted many times with the same result)
Is there a way to map keyboard shortcut to multitasking view? Tried using the command that works in terminal, but doesn't seem to work right. Was hoping to get gestures setup for this, but need a corresponding keyboard shortcut.
Hi! Stumbled across Enso on Distrowatch, currently running the LIVE version. Your using Gala as the window manager and the button layout is on the left. None of the usual tricks I would normally use in a XFCE environment are working to move the buttons back to the right.
