    Hi Maciej, I've added ember-rollbar-client to my project last night. it lots errors nicely to Rollbar as expected, but it doesn't pass any information on the error. 'body.message.extra' and 'body.message.body' are empty structures. Did I miss something when implementing?

    Hi @Lagaffe_twitter :)
    Hmm, first you can check if you have the latest version. (v0.3.3)
    Then try to log error manually using:
    this.get('rollbar').error('My error', { custom: 'Working!' });
    and check if Rollbar get these 2 messages.

    If they are present, next you can check if Ember.onerror callback has been properly set. Just type in chrome console Ember. onerror and you should get:

    function () {
              oldOnError.apply(undefined, _arguments);
              _this.error.apply(_this, _arguments);
      }

    If it is registered, probably your app is just sending empty errors :/ (I think so...)

    Investigation: Exelord/ember-rollbar-client#2

    @Lagaffe_twitter
    do you think #2 might have to do with my issue?
    • I have version 0.3.3
    • The manual log works
    • The onerror callback is correctly set

    Hi I set up ember-rollbar-client in my project...but I'm not seeing any errors in rollbar...
    I think i set up my config/environment.js correctly

        emberRollbarClient: {
          accessToken: process.env.ROLLBAR_TOKEN,
          // By default Rollbar logging is enabled in every environment except test and development.
          // Here is an example if you want to use it only in production
          enabled: environment === 'production'
        },

    I tried this in the console in my production environment to test:

    window.onerror("TestRollbarError: testing window.onerror", window.location.href)

    nothing in rollbar though...

    @Exelord
    Can you try Ember.onerror('test')?

    @Exelord thanks! that helped me figure out that I had the wrong token set.....seems to be working now
