BTW, and angular app:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <body ng-app>
    <input type="text" ng-model="name" placeholder="Enter your name">
    <h1>Hello <span ng-bind="name"></span></h1>
    <script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/angularjs/1.3.14/angular.min.js"></script>
  </body>
</html>
So, nice!
Nicolas Rannou
@NicolasRannou
yes
and angular 2 syntax is super friendly
almost there :)
@Component({selector: 'my-app'})
@Template({inline: '<h1>Hi {{ name }}</h1>'})
// Component controller
class MyAppComponent {
  constructor() {
    this.name = 'Ali';
  }
}
<!-- index.html -->
<html>
  <head>
    <title>Angular 2 Quickstart</title>
    <script src="/quickstart/dist/es6-shim.js"></script>
  </head>
  <body>

    <!-- The app component created in app.es6 -->
    <my-app></my-app>

  </body>
</html>
and couple of more files to add but it will follow the web components logic
jbernal0019
@jbernal0019
Yes, it uses ecmascript 6
So it have classes.
Nicolas Rannou
@NicolasRannou
yes
and compile it to ecmascript 5 if needed
yes
jbernal0019
@jbernal0019
Many things similar to React
Nicolas Rannou
@NicolasRannou
class, modules, promises, etc.
yes

I see that both react and Angular use a kind of web component. But waht about the actual HTML5 standard web components?
Can we use Html5 web components with these frameworks?
Nicolas Rannou
@NicolasRannou
yes
that is the point
you can mix then as you which
jbernal0019
@jbernal0019
But they have their own mechanism to create web components
Why don't they simply use Html5 web components?
Nicolas Rannou
@NicolasRannou
because they add extra functionnalities to it I think
promise a nicer syntax, and tons of extra functionnalities I think
jbernal0019
@jbernal0019
Ok. I think we shoud use angular for the next version of chris even if Angular 2 is not available. We should use angular 1.X latest.
Even when Angular2 is not compatible the ideas are pretty similar with less directives. Thats my understanding
But Angular2 looks great! :-) What do you think?
Nicolas Rannou
@NicolasRannou
all depends when we get started with chris2 I guess, I read somewhere that angular 2 will be there this summer!
good thing is that angualr provides all we need whereas whereas requires more libraries to build a large application
one thingI do not know is that if angular would work on the server too with node
to use same framework for front and back end
all JS
would be great
(not even sure we need something so advanced for the back end)
jbernal0019
@jbernal0019
Angulkar doesn't require a specific server. You can use whatever you want for the back end as long as you can do Ajax requests
Nicolas Rannou
@NicolasRannou
cool
jbernal0019
@jbernal0019
I'm going to email you a recent book on angular 1.x. I've only read chapter1 though. But already in love with the ideas there
:-)
Nicolas Rannou
@NicolasRannou
hahaha
great
I build one app with angular 1.2 in the past
not sure where is it now… :(
jbernal0019
@jbernal0019
Did you get the book?
Nicolas Rannou
@NicolasRannou
Yes!
Thanks!
talking from my phone
cool
