You are saying that as for curvilinear grids, non-uniform grids can be mapped in uniform grids in the computational space? This is true and of course it can save a lot of computation, because the WENO formulation for uniform grids can be used. But I want to use WENO interpolation also for joined grids approach: two grids with different spatial resolution are joined together, so I have to interpolate the values on the ghost cells of the finest grid via interpolation from "true" points of fine and coarse grid... Maybe I haven't explained very well...
For transformation to physical to computational space, do you use Jacobian?
