I typically get datasets from where they are hosted :P
I'd look at UCML/Kaggle first. I can get India specific data from data.gov.in, maybe there's such a site for your country/region?

Hi people,
:point_left: guess who crashed today installing the just available Spectre-Meltdown patch for Ubuntu?

ALL my data is there. Apparently there is a solution though, but I don't know how to do that...

Anyways... I will see.

@fabiohfab The datasets are already available in Kaggle. Look for freecodecamp. It is not to ask you to be as serious as possible about this dataset. Any question please ask. I have a repository (emoji) that is now outdated with preliminary scripts. I will update them as soon as I can rescue my computer.

@Sprinting about scraping, see just sentence above

@Sprinting thanks for sharing where to find datasets.

@mstellaluna Yes for bad or for good, :poop: was there in my last correction; probably all that :poop: was what crashed my computer instead?

@linuxenko At the end, I prevailed!!!

I would rather be the last one if I avoid to get into trouble...
Mine is that I have to use a recovery Ubuntu source to change kernel.
The current kernel over which the patch was made is not working.
Ubuntu 16.04.

@mstellaluna people were also mentioning a different kernel, xxxxx.108. I think ANY KERNEL but xxxxx.104.

@mstellaluna Thanks! I need to find a live recovery copy of Ubuntu 16.04, I think. I has to be run externally and then select the kernel. I will wait a bit though. It is better to let it for a couple of days until a stable solution is found. That was exactly my mistake, in fact: not waiting - although I thought they learned from the experience with Windows' AMDs...

I made a recent backup but not of the last part of the emoji project :( . All my last scripts are there @mstellaluna.
Planning to repeat all the code in Kaggle instead for now.
Using the outdated scripts and updating them again ( ~:)~ :point_left: wrong face, sorry - this is the right one: :( )
