I'm not sure if I can post links here because the of the subject, but today on the Philip DeFranco show, the first story he covered is about the use of deep learning to edit faces of celebrities into porn videos, and when the videos and celebrity face images are high quality enough, it's almost seamless. I like his story on it, though because there's so many ethical issues--not to mention potential legal issues--which he discusses.
From a technical perspective, I'm super excited about it because of how well the DL model performs, but I'm also bothered because the use of pornographic videos over any other genre of film is fucking creepy.
there's also a much less creepy and invasive story along these same lines about putting Nic Cage in any movie
