Siraj Raval posted a new video this morning with his suggested approach to learn Machine Learning in 3 months (studying part time, 2-3 hours every day). He breaks it down into 35% linear algebra, 25% probability theory/stats, 15% calculus, 15% algorithms and complexity, and 10% data pre-processing.
I'm not entirely convinced, but the materials are all free, and I expect that my schedule would allow to take it on full-time plus supplement a bit so I was considering following along and seeing how I do ;)

:scream: 3 months??? I have been doing this for longer and I still think I am not there...

And @becausealice2: Don't underestimate the power of the Pie Chart. No, no joke.

Don't fall in the trap of those saying it shouldn't be used. It is like saying that you shouldn't walk anywhere if you have a car in your garage. For some task, walking is just a good, even the best, choice. So, depends.

There are individual cases where I will approve the use of a pie chart. This particular case is not one of those cases.
I think something he doesn't stress at all (if I remember right, and I am not going to rewatch just to verify) is that there is no finish line. Once you do everything he says, the next step is to keep learning. (and get a job if that was your goal)

Ok.
