Hey can anyone tell me the amount of free storage that we get with Google Colab ?
It's the amount of space you have free in your drive
I was looking to download a dataset of around 35 gigs

When I download a dataset say using kaggle cli on colab, does it get downloaded fast as compared to when I do it on my local machine ?
From what I've experienced, it's more or less the same.
But I downloaded the datasets from kaggle and got a speed of around 30Mb/s on colab
which I am pretty sure I cannot get locally
I guess it depends on your max bandwidth limit. From what I've seen I get pretty much the same speed. Was the 30 Mb/s speed constant? How much speed do you usually get?
Yeah it was pretty much constant
+- 3-4 Mv/s

Locally its about 500Kb/s

@rbhatia46 I'm sorry for saying it wrong. It’s not on Google Drive directory. But it’s in the current directory of the Google cloud machine, visible by calling os.listdir(‘.’)

For a while when I used my institute domain ID, I got a space of 335 Gigs
But it got disconnected after 3-4 hours
and I again have 33 gigs
with the same ID
I am confused here, please can anyone help ?
