function where(collection, source) {

var arr= [];
 for(var i in collection) {

    for(var key in source) {

@shahh I just tried class="col-xs-4" still no working
Bashir
@bashiros
Jan 29 2016 00:19
@robjloranger i gave up on the forEach loop and used a for loop to pass all the conditions,
function mutation(arr) {
  var testCase = arr[1].toLowerCase().split("");
  for (var i = 0; i < testCase.length; i++) {
    if (arr[0].toLowerCase().indexOf(testCase[i]) === -1){
      return false;
    }
  }
  return true;

}

mutation(["floor", "for"]);

@bashiros that's what my solution was too. but i thought maybe we could get yours working
@MrPocketPet i don't think the key in hasOwnProperty should be in square brackets
also why are you checking that the source matches the current key? it should be the same as it's during the loop iteration

@GiovannyJean steps to solve this problem
  1. go through the contact list -------> 1 for loop
  2. check if the given firstname exist in the contact list ---------> if statement
  3. If 2. is true then return contacts[i][prop]
  4. else return "No such property"
  5. This is tricky but, if you think about it really hard is quite simeple. make sure that the loop goes through all the items on the contacts list before decaring that there isnt a contact with the given firstname. (Maybe moving the return "No such contact" somewhere else)

your method is wrong and causing a quick end to your loop
GiovannyJean
@GiovannyJean
Jan 29 2016 01:40
@wearenotgroot Ill do that hold on
greg
@wearenotgroot
Jan 29 2016 01:41
@GiovannyJean also you can nest if statements to avoid redundant(repetitive) tests
GiovannyJean
@GiovannyJean
Jan 29 2016 01:41
@prosdkr How so? I know your right i just want to know why its wrong
Syed Isam Hashmi
@prosdkr
Jan 29 2016 01:41
var result = "";
  for (a=0;a < contacts.length; a++){
      if(firstName === contacts[a].firstName && prop === contacts[a].prop){
        result = contacts[a].prop;
      }
      else if (firstName !== contacts[a].firstName) {
        result = "No such contact";
      }
      else if (prop !== contacts[a].prop) {
        result = "No such property";
      }

  }
  return result;
Basically, if the first object isn't the right name or property, then it goes to the next if statement, and if the name isn't the same on the first object it will ALWAYS return "No such contact"
You are "short circuiting" your loop that way, @GiovannyJean
I think

if(firstName != contacts[i].firstName){
        result = "No such contact";
      }
will keep rewriting result until the end of the array
MEANING
say the third item is the one
it WILL write the contact number, but then the fourth one is wrong, so it rewrites it to no such contact
else{
    result = "No such property";
return result;
  }

Help again please.

These are my instructions:
Now you know three ways of targeting elements: by type: $("button"), by class: $(".btn"), and by id $("#target1").

Although it is possible to add multiple classes in a single .addClass() call, let's add them to the same element in three different ways.

Using each of the above jQuery selectors and the addClass() function:

Add the animated class to all elements with type button.

Add the shake class to all the buttons with class .btn.

Add the btn-primary class to the button with id #target1.

This is my script:

<script>
$(document).ready(function() {

});
</script>

Hey guys…how would you solve this algorithm. Basically, the question is to print all numbers from the low to high. If they are divisible by any of the numbers in the arr argument then print out “one match”, if they are divisible by all then print out “all match”. If they are divisible by none, just print out the number. An example would look like this:
divide([2,1, 5], 1, 5)
this would print out
1 “one match
2 “two match”
3 “one match”
4 “two match”
5 “one match”
it’s similar to fizzbuzz, but the divisor arguments are in an array and can be any length...

Hey everyone. So, I'm up to the "Juggling Async" in Learn You Node and I'm really not getting it. I wanted to do something similar with a past project, but I didn't have the knowledge on how to do it back then. I was hoping that it would be explained in the lesson but...nothing.

Anyway, here's my non-working attempt. Can anyone explain what I'm supposed to be doing here? I've been working on this for a week, and can't seem to move on from this step:

var bl = require('bl');
var http = require('http');

var queues = [process.argv[2], process.argv[3], process.argv[4]];

var queueData = {};
queueData[process.argv[2]] = null;
queueData[process.argv[3]] = null;
queueData[process.argv[4]] = null;

var asyncCounter = 0;

queues.forEach(function(element, index, array) {
    http.get(element, function(response) {
        response.setEncoding('utf8');
        response.on('data', function(err, data) {
