correct, @JMGoebel -- if this is "change the Font Size of an element", the second <p> should have the text form the instructions, Purr jump eat the grass rip the couch scratched sunbathe, shed everywhere rip the couch sleep in the sink fluffy fur catnip scratched. @CaArMo0NaA
only the first <p> should have the text Kitty ipsum dolor sit amet, shed everywhere shed everywhere stretching attack your ankles chase the red dot, hairball run catnip eat the grass sniff.

the second one should have Purr jump eat the grass rip the couch scratched sunbathe, shed everywhere rip the couch sleep in the sink fluffy fur catnip scratched.
its in the instructions-- "Create a second p element with the following kitty ipsum text: Purr jump eat the grass rip the couch scratched sunbathe, shed everywhere rip the couch sleep in the sink fluffy fur catnip scratched."

I am trying to select each [i][0] character in my array to .upperCase it. my code SHOULD loop through my whole array and return me one uppercase character for each element i have in my array but it stops at the first one.

You can use radio buttons for questions where you want the user to only give you one answer.

Radio buttons are a type of input

Each of your radio buttons should be nested within its own label element.

All related radio buttons should have the same name attribute.

Here's an example of a radio button:

<label><input type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor"> Indoor</label>

Add a pair of radio buttons to your form. One should have the option of indoor and the other should have the option of outdoor.

TheCodeJones

@PAmorosi you have to create a class called red-text which sets the color to red, as you’re doing now with h2
@PAmorosi and then apply the class to your h2 element, with class=“red-text”

hi guys! Can someone see why when I do consecutive searches in my app, instead of replacing the result divs, it creates them twice? For eg, if I search "cat" it gives me ten unique "cat" results. If after that I search "dog" it gives me ten unique "dog" results twice. I think the issue is either with "clearSearch()" function(lines 66-71 in JS), or with the for-loop (lines 56-60) but can't seem to debug it. Any thoughts? Thank you!

k-- you can edit your message to format it, too--
its kinda super helpful for people helping you-- tis bit hard to read, and the editor colors can give clues to where a problem is :blush:
if you hover near the timestamp, there will be a dropdown,
choose edit, and then type three ` in the top row
the ` is near the esc key on most keyboards
you will need to press shift+ enter to make a new line,
the backticks have to be on their own line
and, then you will need to do the same at the bottom--
shift + enter for a new row,
and three `

it's not that, the FCC is just checking for compliance with what it's asking, it asked you to use that URL, it's reading it as text, it just needs to match what it's asking for..
same as if later it tells you to name a class orange-text and you name it orangetext . nothing wrong wtih it, just not what it's checking for

return undefined;

@Lana0703 at this rate, i have no clue. I just started on this site, but i've been messing with web development since 2012 but have nothing to show of it and can't nail down the design portion properly.
I can make basic websites, and use bootstrap to some extent but matching fonts properly yeah good luck even with glasses on i can't tell what type of font i'm looking at and forget it when it comes to matching colors

it throws No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'https://s.codepen.io' is therefore not allowed access error

@wearenotgroot yees... "When accessing the API using a cross-domain AJAX request (CORS), set this to the originating domain. This must be included in any pre-flight request, and therefore must be part of the request URI (not the POST body). This must match one of the origins in the Origin header exactly, so it has to be set to something like https://en.wikipedia.org or https://meta.wikimedia.org. If this parameter does not match the Origin header, a 403 response will be returned. If this parameter matches the Origin header and the origin is whitelisted, an Access-Control-Allow-Origin header will be set."
greg
@wearenotgroot

I'm trying to size my image and it's not working. It says to put a class but I must be doing it wrong. Can somebody help me?
I do have this: <style>
.larger-image {
width: 500px;
}
</style>
