@hgheza2 <p style="font-size:16px">Purr jump eat the grass rip the couch scratched sunbathe, shed everywhere rip the couch sleep in the sink fluffy fur catnip scratched.</p>
@hgheza2 you are trying to add style to the second p element without adding the class, which is there in the css style selector, so I guess you would have to add style directly.

Each of your three checkbox elements should be nested in its own label element.
Make sure each of your label elements has a closing tag.
Give your checkboxes the name attribute of personality. Mines still not working <form action="/submit-cat-photo">
<lable><input type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor"> Indoor</lable>

Use a CSS Class to Style an Element
I want t the title
Rrd
Red
Your h2 element should be red.
Your h2 element should have the class red-text.
Your stylesheet should declare a red-text class and have its color set to red.
Do not use inline style declarations like style="color: red" in your h2 element.

Use the $("button") selector.
Use the $(".btn") selector.
Use the $("#target1") selector.
Only add one class with each of your three selectors.
Your #target1 element should have the classes animated‚ shake and btn-primary.
Only use jQuery to add these classes to the element.

Dylan

@AlexSigner
do this:
Using .addClass(), add only one class at a time to the same element, three different ways:

Add the animated class to all elements with type button.

Add the shake class to all the buttons with class .btn.

Add the btn-primary class to the button with id #target1.
and you should be good
might try a different browser or refreshing though if you still can't get the tests to run

Change Text Inside an Element Using jQuery
Coy Sanders

you're not changing the text inside the button to jQuery Playground, you're just emphasizing whats already in there

Aug 31 2016 04:38
read the instructions more carefully
it gives an example for how you would do it with the h3 heading text
$("#target3").html("<em>jQuery Playground</em>") would change <h3 class="text-primary text-center">jQuery Playground</h3> to <h3 class="text-primary text-center"><em>jQuery Playground</em></h3>
notice jQuery Playroung text didn't change, the em tags were just wrapped around it

Aug 31 2016 06:38
Im on the last one for "Cat Photo App" where you need to add the col-xs-7 and -5 to your text input and submission button
I am pretty sure I have it...but it keeps saying "Make sure each of your div elements has a closing tag
I cant figure out where I am missing one

Make sure your a element has a closing tag.

@Nalulover98 Dont make more than 1 <style> element and do all styling into it..

<style>
.red-text {
color: red;
}

h2 {
font-family: Lobster, Monospace;
}

p {
font-size: 16px;
font-family: Monospace;
}
.smaller-image {
width: 100px;
}
</style>

also you need to create your "smaller-image" class in your <img> element like this <img class="smaller-image">

Create a Form Element
You can build web forms that actually submit data to a server using nothing more than pure HTML. You can do this by specifying an action on your form element.

For example:

<form action="/url-where-you-want-to-submit-form-data"></form>

Nest your text field in a form element. Add the action="/submit-cat-photo" attribute to this form element.

I just had a quick question for anyone who knows. I'm currently working on "Target Elements by ID Using jQuery", and I understand that you use a "." before a class, like a CSS declaration, and the same with "#" for ids, why is nothing used before targeting a button though.

<form><lable><input type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor">Indoor</lable>

<lable><input type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor">Outdoor</lable>
</form>
the above statements are not satisfying the following conditions, any idea?:Give your radio buttons the name attribute of indoor-outdoor.
Each of your two radio button elements should be nested in its own label element.
Make sure each of your label elements has a closing tag.
One of your radio buttons should have the label indoor.
One of your radio buttons should have the label outdoor.

@jcode86 - the other problem (although it is hard to ready your posted code...) is that you should have your class definition between the <style> </style> tags, like this:

<style>
    .silver-background {
        background-color: silver;
    }
</style>

and then you should have <div class="silver-background"> </div> to assign the class to that div.

Hi, I joined yesterday and have a problem with exercise 54. I get this error: Your <style> should have a pink-text CSS class with its color set to pink.

<style>
.pink-text{
color: Pink;
}
body {
background-color: black;
font-family: Monospace;
color: green;
}
</style>
