When adding a new CSS property inside a previously used <style> tag, do I just add to the already used class, or do I add a new class?
To clarify: I'm at change the font size of an element.
Thank you to anyone who can help!

@OlivierCoq instructions say to "create an entry for p elements", that means you need to create a new class just for p elements

hey all got a question on the tribute page. I'm trying to figure out why the whitespace on my thumbnail shows up but it doesn't on the example page. Is my image just not the right ratio or something?

as an fyi I was looking around for what was causing the issue with my thumbnail. I ended up just putting a max-width in the style sheet so that it didn't get bigger than my image! https://codepen.io/swetz/pen/vXYbEX
is there a better way to do that?
and also, I'm having to use center-block in the thumbnail, is that normal?
I'm having a hard time understanding the col-md/xs/lg-* dealio, so maybe there's a way with that?

  • well, what do we want to change?
    reference instructions, here: Change the button with id target4 by emphasizing its text.
  • so, we need a selector, right?
    we can review lesson Target HTML Elements with Selectors Using jQuery to see the code format/syntax, here:
    $("button").addClass("animated bounce");
    this may be helpful:
  • jQuery - Selectors - scroll down to selectors
    "button" is the selector above, we need to use "target4"
    so, we have $("#target4").html( - so far, right?

@israfel070 do all your <stylr> stuff in the CSS panel.. if you have it availalbe, i'd say use it..
cause possibly it's some weird limitation to Codepen? I'm just guessing though

Between the style tags, give the p elements font-size of 16px. Browser and Text zoom should be at 100%.

Sep 03 2016 06:13
Use the $("button") selector.
Use the $(".btn") selector.
Use the $("#target1") selector.
Only add one class with each of your three selectors.
Your #target1 element should have the class animated‚ shake and btn-primary.

@DarrenfJ not sure if you figured it out, but I think it's a limitation of the jumbotron class
@DarrenfJ as an fyi, you don't need to have jumbtotron and well in the same div, they do different things. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/20557610/jumbotron-wells-in-twitter-bootstrap

Only add one class with each of your three selectors.?? Now what should they meant to be??
<script>
  $(document).ready(function() {
    $("button").addClass("animated shake btn-primary");
    $(".btn").addClass("animated shake btn-primary");
    $("#target1").addClass("animated shake btn-primary");

  });
</script>

whenever removing animated btn-primary from all this will complete this condition but next condition stucks Your #target1 element should have the classes animated‚ shake and btn-primary
