Create a new p element around your a element.
Your a element should be nested within your new p element.
Your p element should have the text "View more " (with a space after it).
Chris
@Cbhansen
Oct 27 2016 00:08
@codegirl51 try <a href="#"><img src="#"></a>
hmm i dunno
you put a space after view more?
nested just means your <a> element should be within your <p>

@WES1023 to put multiple classes it would look like this <img class="class1 class2"> so in this case it would be <img class="red-text smaller-image">
this only works if the style has the .smaller-image element applied

@Betym25 I would consider getting used to working with bootstrap, since it's a quick way to add a fluid design. When you resize your page, it's proportions break down unfavorably. If you don't want to use bootstrap, you can make your divs fluid to your specification by using percentages for height and width.

例如,如果你想把一个元素的背景颜色设置为green,你应该把这些加到你的 style 元素中:

.green-background {
background-color: green;
}
创建一个叫做 gray-background 的类选择器,设置其 background-color 为 gray,最后应用到 div 元素。

wierd: so when I add a border-radius to the border, it rounds it
and: when I add a border-radius to the image only, it rounds the corners of the image :)
but: when I add a border-radius to both the img and the border, only the border corners get rounded it - and the image corners remain very sharp 90 degree
Any idea why

@andry91959 - I think it is for direct response - and if you are using px instead of % for size...
Bumping - I wonder if this is a bug!
@zapyzap
wierd: so when I add a border-radius to the border, it rounds it
and: when I add a border-radius to the image only, it rounds the corners of the image :)
but: when I add a border-radius to both the img and the border, only the border corners get rounded it - and the image corners remain very sharp 90 degree
Any idea why?
Sorry - this was not meant to be posted together with my reply to andry @andry91959

@Codingmamba - so you need to have a smaller-image class earlier

<style>
.smaller-image {
width:100px;
}
</style>
And later...
<img src="http://....." class="smaller-image">

@kwilso04 : only stylings should go in your style tags…

<style>
 selector {
 property: value;
}
</style>

the selector can be an element like h2 (this is your case), or a class (.classname), or id (#idname).

Create an additional CSS class called blue-text that gives an element the color blue. Make sure it's below your pink-text class declaration.

Apply the blue-text class to your h1 element in addition to your pink-text class, and let's see which one wins.

<style>
body {
background-color: black;
font-family: Monospace;
color: green;
}
.pink-text {
color: pink;
}

.blue-text {
color: blue;
}
</style>

<h1 class="pink-text" class="blue-text">Hello World!</h1>

Please Where am i missing it???

@zapyzap it’s JSX, kind of an extension to JS. Used a lot in React.

Oct 27 2016 06:02
@zapyzap the fastest way is codepen. You can setup your environment locally, but honestly, that is a huge pain. Webpack and what not.
@zapyzap goto codepen, load up React, React DOM libraries via JS quickadd, load up Babel preprocessor and you’re all set
Marie Well
@zapyzap

codepen... let me try this :)

I am seeking help regarding how to nest three button elements within each of my well div elements. Directions are "Nest three button elements within each of your div elements with class well." ---- Can someone try and break this down for me? Its confusing
<div class="container-fluid">
<h3 class="text-primary text-center">jQuery Playground</h3>
<div class="row">
<div class="col-xs-6">
<div class="well">

</div>
</div>
<div class="col-xs-6">
<div class="well">

</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
for starters I wonder why there are only two </div>'s in the middle and four on the bottom
Marie Well
