Just need an honest opinion. Is it bad that I know how to pass this challenge. I know the code that I ahd to do. But am i hurting myself to continue and not know WTF is going on below 'my' code?
// Declare your variable here

function fun1() {
  // Assign 5 to oopsGlobal Here
  oopsGlobal = 5;
}
var myGlobal = 10;
// Only change code above this line
function fun2() {
  var output = "";
  if (typeof myGlobal != "undefined") {
    output += "myGlobal: " + myGlobal;
  }
  if (typeof oopsGlobal != "undefined") {
    output += " oopsGlobal: " + oopsGlobal;
  }
  console.log(output);
}
Fo r example, If i can grasp what going on on this entire code. should I not pass?

I have challange and I am stuck.Please help me .it is very basic.These are my errors: You need 2 p elements with Kitty Ipsum text.
Make sure each of your p elements has a closing tag.
Your p element should contain the first few words of the provided additional kitty ipsum text.
The first p element should have the class red-text.
Between the style tags, give the p elements font-size of 16px. Browser and Text zoom should be at 100%. Here is what i created :

<style>
.red-text {
color: red;
font-size:16px;

}
</style>

<h2 class="red-text">CatPhotoApp</h2>

<p1 class="red-text">Kitty ipsum dolor sit amet, shed everywhere shed everywhere stretching attack your ankles chase the red dot, hairball run catnip eat the grass sniff.</p1>

@MisterHaskins in order to use a class in css you have to assign that class to an element to make it work. You added the class in the style tags, but you didn't assign it to your h2 tags. To do that you use <h2 class = "red-text">Cat Photo App</h2> Hope that helps a little more 🤗

Create a class called smaller-image and use it to resize the image so that it's only 100 pixels wide.

This is the example shown:

@DeathVender this code of urs is wrong
<div class="col-xs-4"
  <button class="btn btn-block btn-primary row col-xs-4">Like</button>
  <button class="btn btn-block btn-info row col-xs-4">Info</button>
  <button class="btn btn-block btn-danger row col-xs-4">Delete</button>
    </div>
    </div>
U can rectify it by nesting each button properly, U have closed the tag here <div class="col-xs-4"
For example, place each button code inside this
<div class="col-xs-4">
<button class="btn btn-block btn-primary row col-xs-4">Like</button>

@MESmshelton in order to use column classes(col-xs-6) you need to nest them with class of row
Michael

i have that i have <div class="row"> before my other divs and all buttons
Meheret Egzerab

Nov 01 2016 05:33
@MESmshelton you need to use that for every column class

      <label><input type="radio" name="indoor-outdoor"> Indoor</label>
    </div>
and put all such divs inside one single div

Im building a project now. Imagine a small box 12 inches wide x 2 inchees tall. on the front of the box it has 8 openings about an inch wide each. I need to put sliding windows on each hole to open and close using a small motor
so it slides up and down via remote IR
Darren

LydaTech
@lydatech
Nov 01 2016 06:23
I have a client that uses cable for tv's in his bar. Each tv is controlled by a cablebox. But the boxes are all stacked ontop of each other. The remote controls are all tuned to the same IR band so i need a way to block the signal to each box except the one im changing the channel on. Does that make sence?
Jeff Shapiro
@Jeff-Shapiro
Nov 01 2016 06:25
@lydatech very simple
Darren
@DarrenfJ
Nov 01 2016 06:25
yah
LydaTech
@lydatech
Nov 01 2016 06:26
so im building a box to house IR extentions that connect to each cablebox. when you open the window on the box to that cablebox it allows you to change the channel while keeping all the other windows closed thereby blocking the signal to the other boxes
Jeff Shapiro
@Jeff-Shapiro

Ahmet Emre Acar
@sniggy
Nov 01 2016 06:44
so, the style class you are using is defined at the top of the text
any changes you make goes between the <style> tags

because the instruction says that you need to create an entry for p elements

Ahmet Emre Acar

Nov 01 2016 06:48
yes but with ;
p { font-size: 16px; }
Louis
@Arourrell
Nov 01 2016 06:49
So do I place that where I have the font-size: 16px;
?
Ahmet Emre Acar
@sniggy
Nov 01 2016 06:49
you dont want it to be part of the .red class
Louis
@Arourrell
Nov 01 2016 06:49
ooh
Ahmet Emre Acar
@sniggy
Nov 01 2016 06:50
if it is in .red-text {} it is part of that class. if the instructions tell you to make a new class, you do .new {} and if they tell you to change the attribute of p, you do p{}
you can read more about it here http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/sel_class.asp

blanks

Web developers traditionally use lorem ipsum text as placeholder text. The 'lorem ipsum' text is randomly scraped from a famous passage by Cicero of Ancient Rome.

Lorem ipsum text has been used as placeholder text by typesetters since the 16th century, and this tradition continues on the web.

Well, 5 centuries is long enough. Since we're building a CatPhotoApp, let's use something called kitty ipsum text.

Replace the text inside your p element with the first few words of this kitty ipsum text: Kitty ipsum dolor sit amet, shed everywhere shed everywhere stretching attack your ankles chase the red dot, hairball run catnip eat the grass sniff.

<h1>Hello World</h1>

<h2>CatPhotoApp</h2>

<p>Hello Paragraph</p>
