Regardless, you shouldn't have a bootstrap row not in a container. It adds a problem with the negative margin

@fadicode: It’s not a problem that you are readily enthusiastic to help, but it would people if you guided/nudged them towards the right solution. This can be as simple as using references, examples from previous lessons, or a generic example/template that’s close to the challenge without outright giving them the solution. Most of the time, though, it’s just pointing out slight errors in the code. On a bright note, thanks for helping! :+1: :smile:

@CJron That’s not entirely wrong, but what they want is the red-text to be what is modified with the style. So it needs to be

<style>

</style>

Or at least that’s what I’m gathering without seeing the instructions you’re working with.

So this has me completely stumped. My expectation is that as long as myVariable does not equal 1, the while look will keep running and putting myVariable into otherFunction. However, the loop only executes one time. And the code just stops. There is no infinite loop, and the code below the while loop does not execute. Any takers?

got your new image should not have the class smaller-image. , the rest are wrong

You should have a total of two images.
Your new image should be below your old one and have the class img-responsive.
Your new image should not have the class smaller-image.
Your new image should have a src of https://bit.ly/fcc-running-cats.
Make sure your new img element has a closing angle bracket.

Nest one div element with the class well within each of your col-xs-6 div elements.Add a div element with the class well inside each of your div elements with the class "col-xs-6"```<div class="container-fluid">
<h3 class="text-primary text-center">jQuery Playground</h3>
<div class="row">
<div class="col-xs-6 well">

@KiritoKyun
Nov 04 2016 03:13
@sammy4evar you need to add the class "smaller-image" to your img element
Daniel
@dannio
Nov 04 2016 03:13
you can either set an absolute width to the img width="" or apply a class
class="smaller-image" in this case should be fine depending on how large you want the image to be

welcome to FreeCodeCamp @deepakloyola!

Daniel
@dannio
Nov 04 2016 03:18
you can do this:
<img width="100"> or <img style="width: 100px;">
KiritoKyun
@KiritoKyun
Nov 04 2016 03:18
in the element, type js style="(whatever you want)"js
dont put the js sorry @deepakloyola
Daniel
@dannio
Nov 04 2016 03:19
but depending on the need of it, it's generally not a good idea for inline css
in emails yes, it's required
but otherwise use a class
if unique, use an id

the point of alt attribute is if image can't (or doesn't) render on a page for someone the alt text will show up and that should generally be a description for the image

@cdrainxv Your img element should have the class smaller-image.
Your image should be 100 pixels wide. Browser zoom should be at 100%.
Coy Sanders
@coymeetsworld
Nov 04 2016 04:34
"All img elements must have an alt attribute. The text inside an alt attribute is used for screen readers to improve accessibility and is displayed if the image fails to load."
although the must part I think is not 100% accurate
it's good practice to do it but it's not like the image won't load if you don't add the alt attribute
__mifflin__

<style>
h2 {
color: red;
}
</style>

<h2>CatPhotoApp</h2>

<p>Kitty ipsum dolor sit amet, shed everywhere shed everywhere stretching attack your ankles chase the red dot, hairball run catnip eat the grass sniff.</p>

Your h2 element should be red.
Your h2 element should have the class red-text.
Your stylesheet should declare a red-text class and have its color set to red.
Do not use inline style declarations like style="color: red" in your h2 element.

@Zekamarko now in your case you have assigned the h2 element to be red and not created a red-text class and 'assigned' it to h2
