Hi guys
Anyone can help me?
I got stuck again

The exercise is: You can use Bootstrap's col-xs-* classes on form elements, too! This way, our radio buttons will be evenly spread out across the page, regardless of how wide the screen resolution is.

Nest all of your radio buttons within a <div class="row"> element. Then nest each of them within a <div class="col-xs-6"> element.

      <input type="text">

Give Each Element a Unique ID

We will also want to be able to use jQuery to target each button by its unique id.

Give each of your buttons a unique id, starting with target1 and ending with target6.

Make sure that target1 to target3 are in #left-well, and target4 to target6 are in #right-well.

Remember that you can attach classes to HTML elements by using class="your-class-here" within the relevant element's opening tag.

Remember that CSS class selectors require a period at the beginning like this:

.blue-text {
color: blue;
}
But also remember that class declarations don't use a period, like this:

<h2 class="blue-text">CatPhotoApp</h2>

Apply the red-text class to your h2 and p elements.

How do i get the p element red

<style>
.red-text {
color: red;
}
</style>

<h2 class="red-text">CatPhotoApp</h2>

<p>Kitty ipsum dolor sit amet, shed everywhere shed everywhere stretching attack your ankles chase the red dot, hairball run catnip eat the grass sniff.</p>

any element you want to apply that class too, you simply put it in the tag. so if you want a headline to be read, you do this: <h1 class="your-class">text</h1>
and the point is that you can use the class to apply the same styling wherever

Nov 07 2016 04:06

@Maortrum :

Replace the value of your a element's href attribute with a #, also known as a hash symbol, to turn it into a dead link.

href is an attribute and it’s value is "value here"… so together
href="value here"… currently your value is a link… so replace the link with # which will make it dead… so upon clicking it… it will not redirect you anywhere.

Hello, friends I just got to the basic front end development projects section in "map". I'm developing the tribute page and while I know I can do this with CSS I'd like to try to do it with bootstrap. I just want to know if there's somewhere that lists all of the bootstrap classes available for me to use? So far as I can tell there isn't one but I don't know how I'd come up with them to reference in my tribute page.
Obviously I can figure out most of what I'd need by looking at the source code in the example but I'd like to follow the directions and be able to reference a list of some sort in the futer

@acting2332: In the ex.

<h2 class="red-text">CatPhotoApp</h2>

Notice the quotes around the name of the class red-text
Also notice… CSS styling should be done in style tags…

<style>
 .red-text {
 color: red;
}
</style>
In fact, this is an exact example of a previous lesson… maybe take some time to review.

@Croagunk453: it wants you to create a div with a class container-fluid…. then as for nesting all your html elements inside it… here’s an ex.:

<div class="world">
 <p>hello</p>
</div>

In the ex. the p elemnt is nested/placed inside the div with class world
In your case you want to nest all your html elements… though exclude your link and style elements.

$("p").addClass("myClass yourClass");
