@arevaloz A class has to be applied to the img, and the 'style' they give you needs to be written. This way they can "talk" to one another I assume.

Hi! Im doing the Twitch api challenge and my problem is that the ajax's requests is taking a very long time. I did three ajax requests . One is for check fcc's channel status.The second takes the followers, insert them in the page, and the puts them in an array.The third(i think that it is taking the most of the time) runs over the array , and chekcs if the follower is streaming. How can i fix this?

I need help with attaching a JSON file to HTML. Here is the code. I am running the code on sublime text.
    <script type="text/javascript" src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.1.1/jquery.min.js"> </script>

  </head>
  <script>
      $(document).ready(function() {

     $(function() {

       var people = [];

       $.getJSON('quotes/quotes.json', function(data) {
           var entry = data[Math.floor(Math.random()*data.length)];
           var par = "<p class='well'>" + entry + "</p>";

              par.appendTo("#quotes_Main");
       });

});
});
</script>

@EgeKaya anyway, what I meant earlier was - save your .json file in dropbox, click “share”, and it will get you a shareable link you can use on codepen

for(i=0;i<= uncodedArray.length;i++){

if( uncodedArray[i].charCodeAt(0) <= codeM){

  currentCode = uncodedArray[i].charCodeAt(0) + 13;

  codedArray.push(String.fromCharCode(currentCode));

}else{

currentCode = uncodedArray[i].charCodeAt(0) - 13;
codedArray.push(String.fromCharCode(currentCode));

}

}

First, add a new image below the existing one. Set its src attribute to https://bit.ly/fcc-running-cats.

It would be great if this image could be exactly the width of our phone's screen.

Fortunately, with Bootstrap, all we need to do is add the img-responsive class to your image. Do this, and the image should perfectly fit the width of your page.

Still having issues and not sure why. This is confusing me so any help eithout giving away the answer is very appreciated.

function wordBlanks(myNoun, myAdjective, myVerb, myAdverb) {
var result = "";
// Your code below this line
"I wish my " + myNoun + " that is " + myAdjective + "can " + myVerb + "very " + myAdverb + ".";
// Your code above this line
return result;
}

// Change the words here to test your function
wordBlanks("dog", "big", "ran", "quickly");

Manish Giri
@Manish-Giri

@jerrydtm you need to assign this to result

"I wish my " + myNoun + " that is " + myAdjective + "can " + myVerb + "very " + myAdverb + ".”;

coz that’s what you’re returning eventually

return result;
as of now, result is just empty string

Put the Like, Info and Delete buttons side-by-side by nesting all three of them within one <div class="row"> element, then each of them within a <div class="col-xs-4"> element.
The row class is applied to a div, and the buttons themselves can be nested within it.

@kimauny you did not call the border in your img class
your issue is in this line
<img class="smaller-image" src="https://bit.ly/fcc-relaxing-cat" alt="A cute orange cat lying on its back. ">
after "smaller image" you need to call your border

Grimm
@Grimmethy
Nov 10 2016 06:21
it will look like that
Also you will need to fix your border in style, you have excess code in front of it that will keep it from working.
<img class ="class">.thick-green-border{
border-color:green;
border-width: 10px;
border-style: solid;
}
You'll have to get rid of the

Karsten Duim
@kalkala
Nov 10 2016 06:28
@usamasardar The quotes on the cat photo is meant like that you use only that bit @AngusTheCoder Is right they shouldn't be there in your code
Grimm
@Grimmethy
Nov 10 2016 06:29
your quotations need to go from "smaller-image thick-green-border"
also you do not need the . when calling a style
osama sardar
@usamasardar
Nov 10 2016 06:29
@AngusTheCoder . i put 's' after 'p' in http..thats why i can not complete my challange...
Grimm
@Grimmethy
Nov 10 2016 06:30
also don't include all of the
{border-color:green; border-with:10px; border-style:solid}
when calling. That line stays up in your style section.

@Dorcy-ndg3 Your form should have a button inside it.
Your submit button should have the attribute type set to submit.
Your submit button should only have the text "Submit".
Make sure your button element has a closing tag

Nov 10 2016 07:54
@purplepies21 pink-text isn't a class, you need to put a dot at the beginning of the selector
so that needs to be fixed

@Dorcy-ndg3
Nov 10 2016 07:54
@purplepies21 in ur css add a dot(.) before pink-text
