hey guys, I'm working on my first client's site and here's what I have so far: https://amitp88.github.io/Khmer-Family-Cafe/ Just wanted to see what you guys think. I still have a few things to adjust and add, but this is pretty much 85-90% done.
darkflikk
@darkflikk
Nov 13 2016 00:05
@twiste9 why not simply writing a proxy for that API? xD
@twiste9 How about a Java Servlet?
Stefan Radanovic

@darkflikk
Nov 13 2016 00:07
@twiste9 basically just a proxy that your JS can communicate with over HTTPS to access the API :P
Amit Patel
@AmitP88
Nov 13 2016 00:07
@burning-monk why not? also, the client seems to like it, just saying

Nov 13 2016 00:07
@twiste9 Browser ----HTTPS ----> your JS -----HTTPS------> proxy -----HTTP-----> the weather api xD
@twiste9 also you would have to think about where you can deploy the servlet to xD

Nov 13 2016 00:14

@twiste9 Why Free and Startup accounts has no SSL feature?

There is a simple reason behind limitation of SSL feature by several paid accounts and not to including it into free and Startup accounts at the moments. OpenWeatherMap service is really high loading ones processes dozen of thousands requests per second. Providing SSL for each request will increase loading to the servers significantly and as a result we will not be able to process so many requests in a neat way that we are currently doing.

Stefan Radanovic
@twiste9
Nov 13 2016 00:15
@darkflikk got it... oh well, I'll look up for some other apis
darkflikk
@darkflikk
Nov 13 2016 00:15
@twiste9 or build a proxy :P
@twiste9 and having your API key in the JS code allows everyone to acces it. So if you'd have that $180 / month account that allows 3000 calls per minute. Everyone could just copy the API key from your code and use it as their own ;)

Nov 13 2016 01:25
@zamora88 hmm can you copy task name please
Ken Haduch
@khaduch
Nov 13 2016 01:25
@zamora88 - they spell out the task for you, and the main point of this is that the CSS class that is defined later in the list of classes takes precedence over any earlier ones. So I believe that you already have a class .pink-text, and you are just to define one named .blue-text, with the appropriate color settings, and then add that class to the <h1 element - both class names are within one set of quotation marks, that is class="pink-text blue-text".

I'm new what do I do in Import a google font challenge?
Ken Haduch
@khaduch
Nov 13 2016 01:29
@zamora88 - no, if you want the .blue-text to take precedence over the .pink-text, the important part is that within the <style> section, .blue-text should come after .pink-text. In the class="blue-text pink-text", the order should be insignificant. But try it both ways and see what the outcome is...

Ken Haduch
@khaduch
Nov 13 2016 04:27
@AustinBazinet - you probably want it to affect the image, judging by the name of the class. So the class is defined as .smaller-image, and to use it with an element, it would be something like <img class="smaller-image" > the . is used in the definition of the style class, and in the HTML element, you just use the name with the attribute class= with the class name in quotes. If you need to use multiple classes for an element, they are enclosed in the same set of quotation marks, separated by spaces.

@iristhecoolcat the h2 element is a second level headline element (Sort of), and while you're styling it the right way, because you've removed the element itself, it doesn't show up on the app

Put it back after the closing </style> and it should work

    }
    if (Input.GetKey (KeyCode.D)) {
        RB2D.velocity = new Vector2 (walkSpeed, RB2D.veolocity.y);
    }
    if(RB2D.velocity.x > 0.1)
    {
