@franzdeofrancisco - is this the HTML uncommenting? the comment characters in HTML are actually a sequence of characters <!-- to begin a comment and --> to end the comment. So you should review the instructions and see if you see that in the description, and then remove those two comment delimiters from the HTML code and try the tests.

Pablo Varela

@evan17gr when you use jQuery, the sintax is
$( SELECTOR ).FUNCTION( PARAMETERS ) = something.

ive fixed my problrm and the image has shrunk to 100px but the class for the element img doesnt work
Pablo Varela
@slowold
Nov 19 2016 02:08
the "= something" just being a result, not something you write. All with end with ;
the selector is the way to find an element in the html
Evan Kalvis
@evan17gr
Nov 19 2016 02:08
ok i get that
so would it be h4?
Pablo Varela
@slowold
Nov 19 2016 02:09
you can chain functions, so the result of one goes into another one.
No, h4 is the element ABOVE the well, but the parent is the element that nests the one you elected

you send the elements selected by the selector (#left-well) as a parameter of the function ".parent"
so now that function will use it to find its parent

if you want to select the well by means of the parent() function, you need to select of its children elements.
for example, #target1
so `$("#target1).parent().addClass("this that");´
would
  1. Select #target1 and pass it to the next thing -> parent
  2. Find the parent of #target1 (#left-well, the one that has it nested) and pass it to the next -> addclass
  3. add the class to the element passed.

yes, css is the tool
here you can see all you can do to make your background look good as hell http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_background.asp
as for the spacing, use padding and margin
and about the title... you can keep it like that if you like it, I just think it's ugly, hahaha

how do i get this done.

You can make elements into links by nesting them within an a element.

Nest your image within an a element. Here's an example:

<a href="#"><img src="https://bit.ly/fcc-running-cats" alt="Three kittens running towards the camera. "></a>

Remember to use # as your a element's href property in order to turn it into a dead link.

Place the existing image element within an anchor element.

Once you've done this, hover over your image with your cursor. Your cursor's normal pointer should become the link clicking pointer. The photo is now a link.

      $.ajax({
        type: 'GET',
        url: 'https://api.twitch.tv/kraken/channels/' + streamers[i],
        headers: {
          'Client-ID': 'co9k9t8sd7pi3lq1p3jvc2oyaojbpf3'
        },
        success: function(idx) {
          console.log(idx);
          $('#name').html(idx.display_name);
          //Set profile picture
          var profilepic = idx.logo;
          $('#profile').attr("src", profilepic);
        }
      })
    })
    console.log(streamers[i]);
  }
})

You see the problem that is occurring is the value streamers[i] returns the streamer everywhere but inside the query api function call. Inside the queryAPI function call it returns undefined does any body know what may be the problem. Thanks guys!

I also asked this in the main chat room but nobody has answered thank you

@Azbo400 you can't pass an array as a "GET" variable
in the url
my bad, it has the index
try creating a local variable inside the query function where it works

p元件是用於在網站上正常大小的段落的文本的優選元素。P是短期的“款”。

您可以創建一個p這樣的元素:

<p>I'm a p tag!</p>

創建p你的下面元素h2的元素,並給它的文本“Hello段落”。

運行測試(按Ctrl + Enter)
重啟 幫幫我 臭蟲
創建一個p元素。
你的p元素應該有文本“Hello段落”。
確保您的p元素具有一個結束標記。
